Hera, will not only log the average and peak RMS sound level pressure over a time period, but Hera will also detect and log the attempts of system tampering (for example disconnection of the microphone). The logs can be easily consulted by any user directly from the front panel or retrieved on a computer and printed out.

Hera also offers two logic outputs that may be used to control external devices or mains cut-off if a certain threshold is being exceeded. This threshold value may be scheduled to allow for different sound levels at set times.

All settings are pin code protected and can easily be set from the devicesʼ front panel.

Apex Hera is delivered with a measurement microphone and this is factory calibrated for perfect accuracy.

Hera also offers an automatic calibration function for remote microphone distance compensation. This is imperative in most venues, since the measurement microphones should be placed out of reach.

Optionally you can connect the Apex Leto large deported display to the Hera so that the audience, band or DJ may have visual sight on the sound pressure levels at any time.

The Hera may be used together with the Apex Argos. The Argos will then be slaved onto the Hera’s measurement and threshold.

Use the Hera together with the Apex Argos, they will be your neighbours dream team !

Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor with Full LCD Display The AFS2 Dual-Channel Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor from DBX protects your ears and audio equipment from annoying and potentially damaging audio feedback without altering your sound. The AFS2 features application-specific filter types for speech, music low, music medium, and music high. The 24 fixed or live narrow-band notch filters are capable of removing frequencies at 1/80 of an octave, ensuring an optimal frequency response without the possibility of feedback. The front panel features the wizard function to take the guesswork out of setting up any room by incorporating an advanced feedback suppression module and providing a full LCD display for system settings and menus. Additionally, the AFS2 offers a five-segment LED for accurately monitoring input levels for each channel, while the notch filter indicator allows you to monitor the number of filters applied. Dedicated bypass buttons are included to help isolate problem channels. The rear panel offers XLR and 1/4" inputs and outputs, both switchable between +4 and -10 dB operations. A USB port has been provided for firmware updates. The AFS2 ships with a standard IEC power cable.

With 12 inputs and 6 outputs and Ethernet control the dbx ZonePro? 1260 and 1261
are the newest members of the ZonePro? family providing a complete suite of signal
processing and control for Commercial Audio applications.
Designed to offer superior system sonic performance and flexibility, the 1260/1261 deliver
the highest quality tools available. Even the input and outputs connectors were chosen for
their standard usage and reliability. The ZonePro products offer Euroblock connectors for
balanced signals and RCA connectors for interfacing with consumer equipment often used
in commercial applications; there is also a simple analog input buss that allows inputs to be
sent from one unit to the next for unit and job scalability. The 1260 and 1261 provide every
necessary processing tool, from the input processing like gain control and EQ available on all
inputs to highly sophisticated and specific functions such as selectable paging microphone
processing including Gating, De-Essing, Auto Gain Control, Compression and Feedback
Suppression. The heart of the ZonePro products is the Routing module that provides of course
Primary Source Selection but also Source Ducking for Paging and Priority Override. The outputs
also offer a wealth of processing designed for commercial applications like our patent-pending
AutoWarmth? function that was co-developed with JBL to provide natural low frequency extension
at any signal level. Each output also offers EQ, Bandpass and Crossover filters, Limiting and Delay
for system optimization. With the ZonePro? every tool is at your disposal to maximize the response
of your system.
Beyond processing, the ZonePro? products offer multiple forms of control to further extend the
versatility of your system. From easy-to-use wall panel Zone Controllers for standard end-user
functions like source select and volume control to advanced system control including a built-in
Real Time Clock that can provide programmable system changes throughout the day or week.
For system setup and monitoring the ZonePro Designer software provides an intuitive interface
and a speedy setup Wizard for configuring and editing all system parameters. The addition of
Ethernet control means that not only will it work with standard network equipment, but it can also
be accessed from remote dialup locations or from wireless access points.
The ZonePro? 1260 and 1261 will take your Commercial Audio system to the next level with advanced
processing, versatility and control.
