The Arturia MicroFreak Vocoder Edition takes the hybrid Freak formula and makes it even better with a 16-band Vocoder mode, a detachable gooseneck mic and a sleek, updated look. It\'s the uniquely unpredictable MicroFreak, with 14 digital oscillator modes, velvety analog filters and heaps of modulation and randomization controls, supercharged with wild vocoding abilities.
The Vocoder Engine
Arturia created a 16-band mode to transform your voice in the Freakiest way possible. The vocoder engine features three waveforms: sawtooth, pulse width and noise. Timbre and Shape knobs adjust the response of the 16 frequency bands.
MicroFreak Vocoder Edition goes beyond robot vocals. 16 presets give you instant access to android translations, crystalline harmonies and vibrant formant sequences. Connect an external sound source, like a drum machine or synth, via the headphone socket for glitchy sound processing.
Step Up to the Mic
A simple, removable mic attachment lets you sprinkle your voice into the mix. A gooseneck design means quick position adjustment, with easy connection straight into the headphone socket alongside your cans. The utility menu lets you set your preferred mic gain and noise gate settings.

The ARP Odyssey has been downsized to 86% of the original ARP Odyssey. Carefully selected parts are used in the familiar slider section, providing an operating feel that's even smoother than the original. The keyboard uses a 37-note slim keyboard that features lighter weight and excellent playability. While making the instrument more compact and easier to use, we have also paid attention to ensuring that the mini-keyboard is uncompromisingly "playable." Although the keyboard has 37 keys, the transpose function lets it cover a broad range of seven octaves.
