Designed to deliver easy, flexible control in conference and boardroom installations, the versatile U891Rx cardioid condenser boundary microphone features a touch-sensitive on-off switch that can be set to three modes: press-on/press-off, press to talk, and press to mute. The phantom-powered microphone is equipped with a unique PivotPoint® rotating output connector and an LED status indicator. UniGuard® innovations offer unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference; interchangeable elements are available in cardioid, hypercardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns; an 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep® filter reduces pickup of low-frequency ambient noise. The microphone's heavy die-cast case and silicon foam bottom pads minimize coupling of surface vibration to the microphone. The C 562 CM flush-mount boundary microphone uses the same transducer as the C 562 BL.
The C 562 CM has been designed specifically for permanent, "invisible" mounting in ceilings,
walls, tables, stage props, etc.
Owing to its high sensitivity, the C 562 CM is a perfect tool for surveillance or live recording
since a single microphone can cover an entire room. The supplied XLR phantom power adapter
connects to the microphone cable through a miniature connector so installation holes can be
smaller than the diameter of the phantom power adapter.
