The VM170 is a "piano style” footswitch made in ABS with a chromed metal "tongue” switch. The base is made of laminated zinc and equipped with anti-slip rubber feet. On the side it has a polarity switch for compatibility with many makes of keyboard. Supplied with a fixed connection cable and mono jack. There are two types of BOSS footswitches to chose from depending on the application. The FS-5U (momentary type) engages a function while you hold down the switch. The FS-5L (latch type) changes the on/off status each time you press the switch.
