Turbosound SpeakersA British designer and manufacturer of professional loudspeaker systems, Turbosound has been building speakers for more than 30 years. Bugera has installed a custom-designed 12″ Turbosound speaker into the BXD12AClass D OperationThanks to Class D amplifier technology, Bugera is able to provide you with power and sonic performance in an easy-to-use, portable, and lightweight package. Class D amplification makes all the difference, offering energy efficiency and eliminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks. This technology makes it possible to design and build powerful products that are significantly lighter in weight than their traditional counterparts, while using less energyMOSFET Preamp for High-Voltage, High-Headroom Tube SoundBugera\’s high-voltage MOSFET preamplifier challenges what you think of for solid-state bass tone, providing the sound, feel and dynamics of a tube amp. Like with real vacuum tubes, their MOSFET design equally operates at high voltages, providing this preamp with headroom to reproduce all of your playing dynamics; from your subtly nuanced signature riffs and bass lines, to your most powerful, attention-grabbing solos. The BXD12A is all about tone, and this versatile and responsive MOSFET preamp provides an abundance of headroom for consistently clear and faithful sound reproduction – no matter what style of music your gig calls forStudio-Quality CompressorThe studio-grade compressor is based on classic studio equipment from the \’70s. This transparent and musical compressor design allows your full dynamic range to shine through until your signal reaches the compression threshold, which is indicated by the visible status LED. The compressor increases sustain and gently smooths out signal peaks, which is especially handy when you\’re laying down the funk, à la slap and pop – or hammering home your most aggressive metal lines. The resulting output level lets you unleash powerful and impact-laden bass lines, while still sitting right where you need to be in the mixDynamizer TechnologyWhat is known as parallel or “New York” compression, is a dynamic range compression technique used as a secret weapon in sound recording and mixing. Parallel compression is achieved by mixing an unprocessed “dry,” or lightly compressed, signal with a heavily compressed version of the same signal. Rather than bringing down the highest peaks for the purpose of dynamic gain reduction, it reduces the dynamic range by bringing up the softest sounds, adding audible detail. It is most often used on stereo percussion buses in recording and mixdown, on electric bass, and on vocals in recorded and live concert mixes. Bugera has integrated parallel compression in their Dynamizer technology to provide you with these tones and dynamicsSound OffBugera knows that only the ultimate in tonal flexibility will do, so they designed the BXD12A to satisfy the most-demanding bassist – you! The passive Gyrator EQ circuit provides the sound and feel of traditional tube amps, while dedicated Bass, Mid and Treble controls, working in tandem with a 5-position mid-frequency switch, helps you dial-in any tone you can imagine. And since you might want a little extra sometimes, BXD12A\’s Ultra Low and Ultra High switches are always there to launch your tone into the sonic stratosphere. A Mute switch allows you to tune up silently, and the -15 dB input switch enables you to jump between passive and active bassesGet ConnectedEqually adept in the studio, on the stage or in your practice room, the BXD12A is replete with convenient options and connectivity to help you get the job done. For recording and live performance applications, Bugera provided a balanced DI output. Also included is a dedicated FX Loop for connecting your external effects and a switchable Tuner Output that\’s for use with a tuner, or as a live monitor feed. An Aux input is provided for playing along with your favorite music, and the headphone output for practicing. The Minimark has been astounding people since its first introduction at NAMM some years ago. The Minimark 802 is even more sonically impressive, with an incredible warm and focused sound thanks to the two 8" custom woofers and an onboard piezo tweeter. The Minimark 802 is a brilliant choice for rehearsing, practicing, teaching and recording and it can be used also on gigs, of course! It is also ideal for double bass and acoustic bass, with a faithfully reproduction of acoustic instruments.

The Micromark now has a big brother—one who is still small enough to deliver the Markbass sound anywhere, but big enough to provide a fuller sound with plenty of bottom end! The Micromark 801 features a single yellow 8” Markbass custom speaker. The original (6”) Micromark has been astounding people since its first introduction a few years ago. But this new version is even more sonically impressive!

The PF-800 delivers the superior performance of Ampegʼs Portaflex Series bass heads in an ultra-compact 800-watt design perfect for power-hungry bassists that demand uncompromising tone. Plug into a pair of Portaflex bass enclosures for a vintage-styled rig that is extremely powerful, portable and undeniably Ampeg.

Just over a decade ago, Marco De Virgiliis started pioneering small, lightweight amps; the Markbass Little Mark heads started a new era in bass amplification, inspiring many other companies to follow their lead. Now, you'll be amazed that such a warm, rich and "explosive” sound comes from an amp smaller than our groundbreaking Little Mark heads! And—despite its small size—the Big Bang is packed with extra features that customers have been asking for: aux in, headphone output with level control, plus mute and VLE and VPF filters with footswitch control. Other features, already appreciated by Little Mark users, include a simple and effective 4-band EQ, effects loop, and level control and pre/post EQ switch for theXLR DI output.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the Ampeg Heritage SVT-CL is built with premium components and construction, delivering true Ampeg tone. Premium JJ tubes provide unmatched tone and classic Ampeg EQ offers flexibility and control. It's Ampeg's Heritage, but it's your gear... and has been for more than 60 years.
