A taller tower of power.
The flagship floorstander of the Uni-Fi Slim series is a beautiful, precision instrument that offers advanced technology with its concentric midrange/high-frequency transducer and proprietary aluminum-cone drivers. These support a 3-way, bass-reflex design that delivers a sound and appearance unequalled at their price point. Add a subwoofer to create a very serious two-channel system, or use it as the heart of a no-compromise surround set up.

A benchmark to celebrate 90 years of ELAC achievement.
Uni-Fi Slim are the latest additions to the Uni-Fi family of bookshelf, floorstanding and center-channel speakers. The Slim series brings a sophisticated European flair to Uni-Fi, with cabinets that are slimmer, taller and deeper than the originals. And each comes in a high-quality satin painted black or white finish to complement the most elegant décor.
Like the originals, each model in the Slim series is designed by Andrew Jones, and employs the same concentric driver responsible for the award-winning sound of Uni-Fi. Ideal time-domain characteristics result from combining a tweeter and midrange diaphragm within a single voice coil—delivering the most coherent and accurate reproduction across the treble and midrange frequency spectrums. Importantly, Uni-Fi Slim sounds exactly the same as Uni-Fi, employing an identical driver complement, crossover, internal cabinet structure and volume. Only the shape and cabinet are even more refined, featuring a smaller footprint and smooth, satin finish.
ELAC’s chief engineer Andrew Jones explains how Uni-Fi Slim speakers are built on the same foundation: “My goal with the original Uni-Fi series was to create a line of speakers with technology and performance normally reserved for speakers costing significantly more, by going with a 3-way design and employing a new in-house developed concentric driver. With Uni-Fi Slim, design-conscious listeners can enjoy the same outstanding sound along with more elegant proportions ad slim, high-quality cosmetics.”
Uni-Fi Slim can be the basis of an outstanding two-channel system, or used to build an awe-inspiring multi-channel surround-sound system. Add an ELAC subwoofer for the last word in music and movie soundtrack reproduction.
Custom-designed concentric driver
The delicacy of a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter and the harmonic accuracy of a rigid aluminum 4-inch midrange cone come together in a symphony of sonic perfection. Positioning the tweeter concentrically within the midrange voice coil achieves a uniform directivity pattern, for flat frequency response and formidable power handling, along with enhanced imaging for both on- and off-axis listening positions. |
Room-filling sound without a room-filling speaker cabinet. Slimmer than ever before, the 684 S2 offers an amazing combination of floorstander power, audio performance and unbeatable value.
Switching to 5-inch bass/midrange drivers from the previous 6.5-inch cones, means the 684 S2 is now significantly slimmer than its predecessor, with simultaneously improved audio performance, thanks to Bowers & Wilkins innovation. The two Kevlar cone drivers benefit from smaller voice coils to increase sensitivity.
The 5-inch drivers now also feature Anti-Resonance Plug dustcaps, technology taken from our high-end PM1 speakers, that improve pistonic movement inside the voice coil. This helps to deliver amazingly distortion-free midrange performance, all in a smaller space.
As well as slimmer, improved driver performance, the 684 S2 also features a Decoupled Double Dome tweeter. Double dome technology, brought across from the CM10, increases tweeter rigidity for a more precise sound, while the tweeter sits in a gel-filled cavity, decoupled from the surrounding cabinet - which removes resonances and vibrations, for a more natural, spacious sound.

The largest speaker in the 600 Series. This floorstander is ideal for audiophile stereo and home theatre applications in larger rooms, delivering serious performance and amazing value.
The 683 S2 features a Decoupled Double Dome tweeter - technology evolved from Bowers & Wilkins CM10 speaker. The double dome design uses an extremely thin aluminium dome for lightness, surrounded by a thicker aluminium ring for rigidity. The result is a far more precise treble performance. And while the tweeter looks like it's part of the main speaker, it's physically separated in its own gel-filled cavity, so performance isn't hit by unwanted resonances or vibrations, for a more natural, spacious sound.
Serious and accurate bass performance is equally vital to such a room-filling speaker. That's why the 683 S2 features a new bass driver construction method, using a similar method of bracing to the tweeter with twin layers of aluminium. The richer, distortion-free bass response is sumptuous.
As well as new bass driver construction techniques and a new tweeter, brought in from Bower & Wilkins high-end series, the 683 S2 also boasts an FST Kevlar midrange driver. Serious technology, serious performance, but seriously affordable for a speaker of this calibre.

| Magnat Monitor Supreme 802 Three Way Street Speakers Black
The Monitor Supreme 802 is the smallest floor-standing speaker in the range and offers everything we expected from the Supreme name: A compact MDF construction, precise guides and a simple design with a visually offset aperture.
The speaker, which is available in two high quality wood tones, is equipped with a 170 mm bass speaker and a 170 mm midrange speaker, with specially coated cones, which offer a very high level of dynamics in the bass category and good accuracy throughout frequency range. The 25 mm coated fabric canopy with the new tweeter flange also ensures significantly enhanced dispersion properties.
THE SERIES HAS SIGNIFICANT BENEFITS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW TWEETER
All speakers are fine-tuned using the Klippel laser measurement system and are equipped with durable metal baskets and ultra-strong magnetic drivers. The woofers use a specially coated cellulose cone, which results in a significant reduction of some vibrations while reducing weight. The aim of this is to perfect the accuracy of music reproduction and achieve maximum dynamics. The floorstanding speakers in the series and the 202 feature a newly developed 25mm dome for the treble. The fabric dome, which is driven by a ferrite magnet, ensures a balanced reproduction throughout the relevant frequency range. The newly designed tweeter flange also ensures the production of a more homogeneous treble. Due to their smaller size, the 102 and the center speaker of this series are equipped with a somewhat smaller, but very high-resolution 13 mm dome.
THE LEVEL OF QUALITY IS APPEARABLE IN ALL THE SPEAKERS IN THE SERIES
The high quality crossovers used in this series are responsible for distributing the music signals to the respective speakers. These crossovers, which have an octave slope of up to 18 dB as well as phase correction, perform their tasks perfectly. The housings themselves, which are slightly tapered backwards, are a real visual and technical feature. These are made of durable MDF and have minimal tuning. Monitor Supreme speakers have an attractive black aperture and are available in two high quality wood shades (Black or Mocha). Large floor speakers are fitted with rubber or metal tips to prevent ground coordination. Solid, gold-plated screw terminals on the back of the speakers ensure a perfect connection to an amplifier - with the sole exception of the Monitor Supreme 102 due to the limited space available on the ultra-compact shelf speaker.
