The 4P is one of the "biggest” models of Alhambra with characteristics that guarantee the better acoustics of the instrument and its greater durability over time. The body top, side and back of guitar are "weathered” and have been specially processed, the bindings under the top have a different design compared to the smaller models while in the fingerboard ebony has been used, which is a material found in handmade models.
Also the soundboards (and this is rule for the bigger models), are enough thinner aiming at the appropriate transport of sound and the better resonance. The use of ebony-tree guarantees the resistance of the fingerboard because the ebony-tree is timber with big density and resistance in the humidity.
