The single speed RP78 has been designed and engineered to achieve outstanding performance way beyond the expectations of a product at this price point.

Excellent build quality, reliability and ease of use combine to make a product which, if used correctly, will offer you a lifetime of musical enjoyment.

Designed solely for the reproduction of 78 rpm records, we have omitted any unnecessary gimmicks allowing us to concentrate the manufacturing costs on the high quality parts necessary to reproduce records accurately. The minimalist design of the Rega RP78 and the use of extremely high quality components ensure that your turntable should last for many years.

The RB202 offers astonishing performance and is one of Rega\’s best selling tonearms. An evolution of the famous RB250, which was supplied as standard on the Planar 2 and P2 turntable, the RB202 uses hand selected, high quality vertical and horizontal bearings.

The tonearm uses our die-cast tube and the three point fixing technique based on the mounting design system. This system reduces stress on the plinth and tonearm and offers greater stability though the arm. All of which translates into more music for you the listener.

  • Hand assembled RB202 Rega tonearm.
  • Precision main bearing.
  • Flywheel effect platter manufactured from phenolic resin which assists start up speed and stability.
  • Light weight plinth.
  • Low vibration motor.

Rega manufactures a dedicated 78 moving magnet cartridge, the RB78 (sold separately)

The first Debut turntable, introduced in the late 1990s, was a revolution for the hi-fi industry. For the first time after the arrival of Compact Disc and the assumed demise of vinyl records, an analogue product re-emerged in the "mass market” – something all music lovers could afford.

The new DEBUT Carbon DC has been designed to set new standards in this category for the coming decade – perfectly timed as analogue today is again a respected source, while the demand for good turntables is growing again!

The most obvious improvement is the inclusion of a CARBON TUBE for the tonearm, which increases stiffness and decreases unwanted resonance.

This material normally is extensively used in high-end tonearms, but – because of cost reasons – was never used in products at lower price levels. Together with other improvements like an increase in platter size and weight to realize even smoother rotation, the overall sound quality is greatly improved. The approved belt drive design offers low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling (utilising TPE-damping) and ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability without unwanted vibration.

The DEBUT CARBON DC will be offered in high-gloss black or shiny red, green, blue, yellow, silver or white as no-added-cost option.

Specifications:

  •  8,6” carbon tonearm

  •  Increased platter size with more weight

  •  Precision belt drive with synchronous motor

  •  New DC power supply with ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability.

  •  New TPE motor suspension

  •  Felt mat

  •  magnetic cartridge options from Ortofon OM 10 or 2M red

  •  7 high-gloss colours

A MUSICAL FAMILY

The TD 206 and TD 209 turntables are the younger siblings of the revolutionary, multiple-award-winning TD 309. However, they don’t have to live in the shadow of their older brother. Both models are built using only high-quality materials and parts. And both share a number of technical features with the TD 309, ensuring that their replay quality is up there with the best.

The new TP 90 tonearm is based on the tried-and-tested TP 92 and uses the same ultra-low-friction, high-performance bearing and the innovative zero-stiction anti-bias system. The arm tube is made from rolled aluminium that is damped using RMR technology (reduced-modal-resonance), and the stainless-steel counterweight at the end of the arm tube is double-decoupled. Tonearm height, azimuth and overhang are useradjustable.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Low Noise, Low Voltage electronically speed controlled DC Motor
  • Adjustable belt tension for best performance
  • Two-part aluminium/acrylic platter
  • New TP 90 tonearm with precision Japanese bearings
  • Tonearm adjustable for VTA, azimuth and overhang
  • Made in Germany
