The LD Systems LDP82A is an active bass reflex multifunctional loudspeaker equipped with an 8″ speaker and a 1″ compression driver.
This loudspeaker was designed for live applications, both as a full-range solution as well as in combination with a subwoofer. The bi-amp amplifier section delivers an output of 600 W Peak and a sound pressure level of 112 dB (max.). This light loudspeaker impresses with assertive treble and midrange. The rear panel offers numerous connections and controls: a microphone input (XLR/jack), a line-in connector (RCA/XLR), a line-out connector (XLR/jack), 2-band EQ and a ground lift switch.
Additional highlights are the integral protective circuitry, built-in handles and rigging points, the 36 mm stand mount and the rugged overall design. Optional wall-mount brackets and monitor supports are available. The perfect PA solution for bands, mobile discos or permanent installation in medium-sized clubs and other function rooms.

With its multi-purpose bass reflex construction and carefully contoured, user-friendly presets it is equally suitable for fullrange, satellite or floor monitor applications. The Stinger® 8 A G3 is powered by high efficiency Class D amplification with a hefty 300 watts RMS output. It drives a custom designed 8” woofer and BMS compression driver delivering a punchy low end and smooth, crisp highs. The HF waveguide has been designed using BEM, the numerical modeling of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces floor and ceiling reflections, effectively eliminates side lobes and achieves a controlled uniform coverage pattern. The Stinger® 8 A G3 incorporates LD Systemsʼ proprietary DynX® DSP technology to ensure top-level performance with maximum clarity and punch at all times. Processing includes crossover and multiband limiter functions for accurate time alignment and pristine, distortion-free audio. Designed to be a real workhorse throughout, the enclosure is made of rigid birch ply and coated with ultra tough polyurea for extraordinary strength and durability. This highly professional 2-way active system is designed for absolute, long-term reliability. With its rugged bass reflex housing and finely tuned, user-friendly presets, it is suitable for use as a full-range speaker, satellite or monitor. The Stinger® 28 A G3 is powered by a highly efficient Class-D amplifier with a powerful 500-watt continuous output. Its two specially developed 8" woofers and a BMS tweeter driver achieve a powerful bass response and fresh, natural trebles. The wave guide of the tweeter has been developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of the sound radiation and dispersion. It reduces reflection from floors and ceilings and prevents sidelobe levels, thus achieving controlled and homogeneous dispersion.
LD Systems’ proprietary DynX® DSP technology means that the Stinger® 28 A G3 delivers perfect performance with maximum clarity and power under all conditions. The signal processing of the crossover function and the multi-band limiter achieve an optimal runtime and high freedom from distortion. Designed as an all-around workhorse, the housing of the speaker is made of robust birch plywood. An extremely resilient coating of polyurea offers exceptional robustness and durability. The features include a steel front grille, a dual-tilt stand attachment, flight points and ergonomic handles. The Stinger® 28 A G3 is a good value and attractive solution for professional sound systems, with extensive accessories that support usage on the stage and in fixed installations.
