The passive speaker DVX P8 is equipped with a woofer 8” (voice coil 2”) and a compression driver 1” (voice coil 1.5”) on a 90°x70° rotatable plastic CD- horn.
The speakerʼs horizontal directivity is 90° by default factory setting.
The speaker has a top handle housing, the 12 M8 threads and the 2 flypins located on the sides and the back of the speaker are enabling easy transport and installation.
The speaker has been designed to be used also as stage monitor (45° angle). By rotating the horn you can maintain the same coverage angle also when the speaker is used as monitor.
In the bottom of the box there is a standard pole mount cup (D36mm) made of aluminium. | Installation version with integrated surface mount bracket. The Electro-Voice® ZX1 is the new standard of no compromise audio performance and versatility for compact sound reinforcement. The high-tech enclosure uses injection-molded high-impact polypropylene to make the ZX1 extremely durable. The enclosure geometry has been engineered to provide maximum rigidity and acoustic performance. The velocity compensated port design overcomes the limitation of many small loudspeakers and enables exceptional low frequency response without vent noise.
The ZX1ʼs long excursion, high output 8" woofer with a weatherized treated cone delivers smooth low frequency performance with exceptional reliability. A sophisticated crossover network integrates it with the DH2005, a 1.25” voice coil titanium diaphragm true compression driver for maximum output with extended frequency response. Full-bandwidth overload protection is provided for reliable, long term operation without audible effect.
The horn features 90° x 50° coverage with the important added benefit of rotation, allowing the ZX1 to be oriented either horizontally or vertically for the ultimate in coverage flexibility. The ZX1ʼs molded polymer enclosure is inherently water resistant. The enclosure features an integrated pole mount, a pocket handle, and a wedge-angle design allowing for use as a stage monitor.

The Monitor 88 is the result of extensive research in the development of new transducers and crossover design. The result is a product with exceptional fidelity, the ability to produce deep controlled bass and extended high frequencies without sacrificing efficiency.
The low-frequency 8“driver ʼs low-mass, carbon fiber diaphragm remains extremely rigid at high power levels,producing a more linear response and lower distortion.
The high-frequency section features a constant directivity horn with a built-in mechanical phase equalizer.
The horn is driven by a Ferrofluid® cooled,1“titanium dome tweeter.
All components are housed in a vented enclosure formed from semiexpanded polystyrene foam.
The speaker system is available in black (Monitor 88)or white (Monitor 88W).
