The alphaton Direct Injection-Box SM-50 allows direct connection of electric guitars,
electric bass, and electronic music instruments with mixing desks of PA systems
and of recording studios.
The SM-50 reduces the amount of microphones used on stage, thus improving gain
before feedback.
Coloration of sound is avoided. Clean signal without interference from other instruments
eases the job of the recording engineer. The use of a strong aluminium die-cast box allows
trouble-free function for a number of years even under adverse conditions. Double grounding
(hum) can be eliminated by activating the built-in ground-lift switch. Isolation voltage between
input and output is 2500 volts, against ground 1500 volts (with ground-lift switch activated).
The box thus complies with toughest safety standards.

Passive DI box especially designed for guitars.
The PDI09 can be connected between an effect device or amplifier and the mixing console. The PDI09 is not suitable for direct connection to a guitar. Integrated filter circuits simulate the authentic "speaker" sound. Tone can be varied between "Mellow“, "Normal“, or "Bright“.
Technical specifications:
- Input: 6.3 mm jack with parallel "THRU" socket
- Output: male XLR transformer balanced
- Attenuator: (Level switch) 0 dB for line signals, -15 dB for small amps up to 10 w, 30 dB for large amps up to 200 w
- No battery necessary

2-channel DI box/splitter, active Converts 2 separate unbalanced line inputs (e.g. instruments) into 2 balanced XLR outputs for connecting a mixer Switchable to split mode (input 1 routes the signal to both outputs) Switchable input attenuation: +20 dB, 0 dB, -30 dB Ground-lift switch eliminates ground loop problems 2 signal inputs via XLR connectors 2 low-impedance XLR outputs Microphone phase can be switched Hi cut 8 kHz switchable Modern convex housing design Full rubber housing corners for safe operation Cables can be routed under the housing Operation with 9 V battery | Standard active DI box. Can be operated with 9 V batteries or 48 V phantom power. High-impedance input; higher output level than with a passive DI box. Active circuitry allows for high input impedance ( 1 meg. ohm) and higher input sensitivity (typical difference between in and out -4 dB). Maximum output impedance with phantom power operation +10 dB. Output: transformer balanced. The special "floating ground" circuitry enables ground lift even during phantom power operation. Introducing the Ultra-Compact DI-Boxes from BEHRINGER
There are times when you will want to connect certain sound sources straight to other audio gear, be it for a live performance or a studio session. A direct connection between audio equipment can be a challenge though: technical problems crop up that?ll corrupt the signal.
The DI400P lets you connect instruments or amplifier outputs. It converts any unbalanced signal to a balanced signal and eliminates unwanted noise. With its high-performance transformer, it also allows you to use very long cables without the loss of high frequencies.
This is the sort of medicine that?ll cure headaches in your studio or on stage. |
