The Apart CM20T 2-way built-in loudspeaker can be used as a 16 Ohm or 100 Volt loudspeaker. In 16 Ohm use, you can connect up to 4 loudspeakers in parallel on each channel of a standard 4 Ohm amplifier. For 100 Volt use, the CM20T is equipped with a high-quality 20 watt 100 Volt transformer with several power tappings. Therefore it can be used with high ceilings or places where more background noise is present.

The loudspeaker has a 6 ½” enforced Polypropylene woofer what results in a very low distortion. To complete the sound, a 1” tweeter has been integrated. It makes the CM20T very suitable for the distribution of microphone calls and background music.

The housing is made of high quality ABS. The woofer is made out of enforced polypropylene, what makes it moisture-proof. The loudspeaker is easy to install, due to its simple, quick mounting system (3 screws which are hidden behind the loudspeaker grill, what gives the loudspeaker a modern and striking design).

The CM20T is standard in white RAL 9010 but is also available in black (CM20T-BL) and silver (CM20T-SLV). From 12 pieces on, the loudspeakers can be painted optionally in any other RAL color (Ref; PAINT-CM).

The JBL Professional Control 227CT is a premium in-ceiling professional loudspeaker designed for applications requiring superior quality sound in ceiling-mount applications. Delivering exceptional next-generation performance in a medium format coaxial point source design, the Control 227CT incorporates breakthrough performance features such as best-in-class pattern control to provide a consistent sound throughout the listening area. Especially wide coverage allows fewer speakers to cover the space, reducing both the material and labor cost for the installation.

The Control 227CT features a 6.5" Kevlar-reinforced low frequency driver coupled with a 1" exit titanium compression driver for enduring reliability and outstanding performance. A top quality, low saturation 60 Watt multi-tap transformer comes pre-attached on the Control 227CT enabling the system to be used on 70V or 100V distributed speaker lines.

The Control 227C and CT are easy to install and feature a removable multi-pin locking connector, with secure screw-down terminals. This allows the for pre-wiring the input wires for easy clip-on convenience during installation. The optional MTC-200BB6 14 cubic liter (0.5 cubic foot) back can is made of extra-thick 16 guage steel and the top is lined with 1/2" medium density fibreboard.

The clean, contemporary look of the MTC-RG6/8 grille for the Control 227C and CT is designed to suit a variety of settings, offering a simple, elegant appearance that fits into a wide variety of décors.

To ensure long life and reliability, Control 227C and CT pass JBLʼs 100-hour torture power test. Nobody in the industry has more demanding reliability standards.

  • TOA introduces a new range of ceiling-mounted speakers that have been designed and engineered to overcome limiting factors that have been associated with conventional ceiling-mount speakers. Most noticeable has always been the high-frequency roll-off that resulted from limited speaker dispersion characteristics. TOA's new ceiling speaker range provides well-balanced audio reproduction without treble attenuation over an expanded listening area thanks to the extra-wide dispersion characteristics that are part of the overall speaker design. Perceived speaker directionality and beaming tendencies are minimized, resulting in a natural, well-balanced sound over a wide area at all levels. Conventional speakers exhibit high frequency roll-off characteristics as the distance between speaker and listener increases. However TOA believes that an ideal ceiling-mounted speaker's response characteristics should include wide dispersion and non-frequency dependent directionality and this new ceiling speaker series proves that.
  • Designed to blend into ceilings with a smooth, low-profile design.
  • Extra ease of use and higher cost-effectiveness with the metal "back can" enclosure for the speaker rear.
  • Minimal high frequency roll-off allows clear and well-balanced sound reproduction over a wide listening area.
  • Quick and easy installation to precisely mount speaker onto ceilings and walls. Rotating front grille also installs quickly and conveniently.
  • The Electronic Controller (AC-120) option is required to provide increased control of the F-122C's speaker response.
