Engineered for rock-solid reliability day in, day out this active subwoofer is a truly professional performer. With built-in presets for quick system integration and a variety of cardioid array configurations it is completely user-friendly. The Stinger® SUB 15 A G3 is powered by high efficiency Class D amplification with a mighty 450 watts RMS output. It drives a custom designed 15” woofer delivering a huge bottom end with terrific punch and excellent definition. The Stinger® SUB 15 A G3 incorporates LD Systemsʼ proprietary DynX® DSP technology to ensure top-level performance and pristine, distortion-free bass reproduction at all times. Designed to be a real workhorse throughout, the well-braced bass reflex enclosure is constructed for horizontal and vertical orientation. The dB1500a is a self-powered subwoofer featuring a heavy-duty 15" low frequency driver with butyl surround, complemented by a 1000 Watt power amplifier. The dB1500a provides an active stereo crossover with high-passed output for running your satellite speakers. Constructed of solid 3/4 inch plywood, with steel corners, tough carpet covering and large casters. The sub-woofer features large metal grab handles and a 35mm pole mount receptacle. Music starts to really groove when you can feel the bass in your body. The ICOA SUB can deliver as much bass as you want - to get the people rocking and entice them to the dance floor. It can even lend a multimedia presentation that special oomph it needs to reach its audience.
The ICOA SUB pumps out serious bass and gives you greater headroom and a clearer sound. This is because your subwoofer relieves the main speaker, whose woofers are now less burdened by high-energy bass impulses, resulting in less intermodulation distortion. Even at higher volumes, the sound doesn't get muffled. Voices and instruments stay crystal clear.
Thanks to its powerful Class D amplifier with 400-watt RMS or 1600-watt peak output, you have some serious power at your command. The presets of the integrated DynX DSP - which offers crossover frequencies of 80, 100 and 120 Hz - let you finely balance your ICOA SUB perfectly with your system. Signal polarity can also be reversed and the SUB offers a delay line-preset for distances up to 10 meters.
When your needs begin to expand as the venues get bigger, your setup can grow along with you. Simply add more ICOA SUBs, which can be operated in parallel, giving you more and more power. You can also take advantage of the cardioid-preset. Simply position the additional subwoofers next to your ICOA SUB facing to the rear and enable the cardioid-preset to get a quieter and controlled low-end at the back while still keeping the punch at the front.
The rugged housings made of 18 mm laminated wood can be stacked, while the M20 thread on top lets you mount the main speakers using a distance pole. Transport is simplified by mounting rollers to the rear. Corner protectors guard the edges during setup. To keep the ICOA SUB from slipping out of your hands, its four aluminium grips are covered in rubber.

Wharfedale's titan sub a15 is a powerful active subwoofer system designed to produce high quality audio in any performance application. Optimised to complement the ultra portable titan series pa speakers, the sub a15 combines the newest technologies, materials and design to ensure absolute accuracy and high output of pure bass frequencies. The powerful 15" woofer is mounted on a 3" voice coil with integral signal processing, a dynamic automatic gain control circuit, stereo crossover and signal limiting all modelled round a built-n 400 watt (rms) amplifier, for an all-in-one bass enhancement system. A phase switch is included to allow for proper subwoofer signal polarity to be selected and with convenient and versatile connections, the sub a15 can easily be integrated into any set-up. A pair of balanced xlr output connections, with switchable "high-pass" mode are available for the stereo line level outputs, and they may also be used to send a high-pass, line-level stereo signal to a pair of powered, full-range speakers such as the popular wharfedale pro titan active models. The sheer functionality of the sub a15 means it can be utilised in any mobile dj or pa set-up, indoors or outdoors and even in fixed installations for clubs, bars, theatres or houses of worship.
