What has been improved from the DDJ-SB?
The DDJ-SB2 not only boasts all of the popular features from the DDJ-SB but it also adds some amazing new pro-DJ features. Channels and Controls
The DDJ-SB2 is a two channel DJ controller allowing you to control two tracks, loops or samples at the same time. Each channel features manual high/low pass filters. There are two large aluminium jog wheels which provide dynamic performance and great scratch response. On-board controls provide immediate access to play, cue, sync, shift, hot cue, auto loop, manual loop and sampler functions. A unique filter fade function allowing you to manipulate both volume and base filters with the use of the cross fader, adding effortless transitions to your mix.
What can I connect to my DDJ-SB2?
The DDJ-SB2 features a master output connection allowing for connection to an amplifier or powered speakers. There are two headphone channels with both 1/4" and 3.5mm sockets on each channel allowing you to monitor your mix and professionally manage loops and transitions. The DDJ-SB2 has a USB MIDI connector allowing it to be used as a MIDI controller.
Compatibility and Software
The DDJ-SB2 has been designed for plug-and-play control of the included Serato DJ Intro software allowing for quick installation and setups. The DDJ-SB2 is MIDI compatible with compatibility with a wide range of alternative DJ software, allowing you to choose from a diverse library of industry leading mixing software. Slip & Loop

A noticeable difference is the new large jog wheels. These offer more responsive touch-sensitivity, giving you precise control when scratching ad nudging to ensure your beats are beatmatched perfectly.
There\'s two new modes. Jog mode is the classic spin-to-nudge function, as well as scratch capability. The Beatgrid adjust mode allows you to use the jog wheel to manually adjust the beatgrid in Traktor.

The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 features a layout that is designed for perfect Traktor software integration. The controls are all familiar, allowing for you to easily get to grips with each control and function. The controls and knobs are already assigned to work with Traktor Pro 2. However, you can also customise the mapping.
