The X-Y pattern and two mic capsules are ideal for capturing a true representation of the sonic atmosphere, whether it\'s sound from a wide area or directly in front of the camera. As a result, the TM-2X records pristine sound that fits naturally with the recorded video.
Setup is as simple as connecting the cord from the TM-2X to the camera\'s mic input jack allowing you to add high-quality audio to video. The output can be set to one of two levels to enable compatibility with a variety of cameras.

Based on models originally developed for use in the broadcast of the Sydney Olympics in 2000, the BP4027 (14.96" long) and BP4029 (9.29" long) Stereo Shotgun models are engineered for high-end broadcast and production use. Laser, the first release in the ProMic series, is a truly professional solution. It has a rugged aluminium design and comes with a removable wind shield and a custom shockmount for hot-shoe mounting directly onto a DSLR camera.
Laser is battery-powered using a single AAA battery (not included), which means that the microphone has an increased sensitivity level, and a lower noise floor, but the inclusion of a -10dB Pad allows you to reduce the level of the mic for recording louder sources.
The microphone also features a Bass Cut, which gives you the option of removing unwanted low frequency rumble, such as traffic or noise from the camera itself, and this can be used in tandem with the -10dB Pad.
As with all sE Electronics products, ProMic Laser comes with a three-year free replacement warranty, which means if it lets you down, weʼll simply give you a new one.
