The Turbosound iQ15 PA Loudspeaker is perfect for a wide range of portable and fixed installation applications. The iQ15 features a 15\'\' low frequency driver with a low mass voice coil and a 1\'\' compression driver, this combination delivers improved transient responses as well as crystal clear, extended high frequency sound reproduction. This powered loudspeaker also comes equipped with premium features that include extensive yet simple to use DSP controls, Spatial Contour Control (SCC), Ultranet digital audio networking and a user-friendly LCD display.
Intuitive Rear Panel
The rear panel houses a fully featured interface that includes a LCD display, Channel A/B gain control and a single rotary encoder for intuitive access to level, EQ, Speaker modelling, SCC, Subwoofer integration and Feedback Control (FBI). The rear panel also features two balanced XLR inputs, balanced XLR outputs for each of the two independent channels, a Mix output XLR connector and level control with a signal LED on each channel.
Extensive but Simple DSP Control
The iQ15 active speaker is equipped with a sophisticated but easy to use Klark Teknik Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which provides a dynamic EQ for incredible full range responses and transparent limiting for the utmost clarity at high output levels, as well as long-term reliability. The advanced DSP also includes speaker modelling presets that consist of detailed and accurate models of some of the audio industry\'s most-respected loudspeakers.
Another DSP function that was developed by Klark Teknik is the Spatial Contour Control (SCC), allowing you to optimise the iQ15\'s frequency response for the physical speaker placement. This advanced function not only adds versatility, it provides accurate frequency compensation for stand, floor, wall or ceiling placement, much like the adjustments commonly found on studio monitors.
An onboard USB port delivers access for remote control of the iQ15 via PC computer, as well as DSP and speaker modelling firmware updates.
Ultranet Technology
Turbosound\'s proprietary Ultranet technology provides the ability to use CAT5 cables for transmitting pristine multi-channel audio signals and other information between Ultranet-enabled products - such as digital mixers, powered loudspeakers, and personal monitor systems. This digital distribution networking not only eliminates the potential for RFI and crosstalk that\'s typically found in analogue methods, but also significantly reduces the setup and installation time required.

Inside our rigid custom designed cabinet is a 15" driver designed exclusively for this project. It's matched with a new 1.75" Titanium high frequency driver, aimed through a 1" diameter horn. The dB500a features 500 watts of clean power (400 watts low frequency/100 watts high frequency) and has a crossover designed for high SPL. Our exclusive Optimax(TM) signal processing circuitry provides total speaker protection but won't cut the low end at high volumes, as similar speakers with sliding filters do.
The back panel has a built-in mixer-like preamp section with mic and line inputs, XLR connectors and level controls. Controls for the selectable low pass filter and Optimax processing are also included.
The dB500a speaker cabinet features an array of mounting options. Designed with floor monitoring in mind, they are also easily stacked or permanently installed. A 1 3/8" pole receptacle is built in, and 10 reinforced fly points are available.

The Titan™ 15 Active is a self-powered, two-way professional loudspeaker system incorporating a high grade Bi-Amp Class D and Class A/B Amplifiers. The model also has intelligent electronics, such as full protection system: DC, overload, short circuit, thermal, On / Off mute and LF / HF Limiters, which protects the system from overload and allows reliable operation right up to the power limit.
The bottom of the Titan™ 15 ACTIVE provides a convenient built in pole mount socket for easy mounting on a standard 35mm diameter speaker stand pole.
The speaker stand receptacle features a locking screw to ensure stability.
Ten M8 threaded rigging points are provided for a variety of safe flying
configurations with four of these inserts available, bottom-mounted, in an OmniMount® 60.0 bracket footprint.
Mixer and Controls
The Titan™ 15 ACTIVE provides basic mixing functions with a variety of input options. Two inputs with separate level controls and a common equalization section allow for overall balance and tonal characteristic control. Easy interfacing to external mixers and processors provide for easy expansion to larger, more sophisticated systems.
