Dolby Atmos and DTS:X with decoding up to 7.2.4 for totally immersive sound
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are now well established as providing truly immersive sound through ceiling or up-firing speakers. The Arcam AVR390 offers both systems, giving a 5.2.2 system with twin ceiling or up-firing speakers. This, however, is just the start. With processing for 7.2.4 channels, you can add a 4-channel power amp (or two stereo power amps) and not only double the ceiling speaker count but also add additional effect speakers – giving total sound immersion.

The Arcam sound difference
Using top quality components, the Arcam AVR390 sounds sublime with both music and movies alike. Although the 60 watts per (7) channels may seem modest, Arcam delivers this power faithfully and reliably. Suitable for use in all but the largest rooms, the Arcam delivers a sound that’s both hard-hitting with action movies but still smooth and refined with music when needed.
Wide-ranging connectivity
Featuring seven HDMI inputs and three outputs, the AVR390 can handle the most complex AV systems. Six HDMIs are HDMI 2.0a and HDCP2.2 compatible (for UHD 4K sources) with the seventh being MHL compatible (for connecting up a smartphone). Other inputs include a total of six digital and seven analogue (with a front-mounted 3.5mm AUX) inputs, making this Arcam AVR hugely adaptive to all types of sources.
HDMI Zone 2 output
Triple HDMI outputs make the AVR390 even more versatile. Use two of the outputs within the same room for connecting a TV and projector simultaneously. The third HDMI is independent, making it ideal for sound and vision in a second room (HDMI2.0a/HDCP2,2 compatible).
Dirac Live for Arcam gives you the very best sound in your room
For the very best sound in your room, Arcam has included powerful room correcting technology from Dirac Research. This uses a microphone and dedicated software to take multiple readings around your room and feed the information back to the amplifier for a completely bespoke response (professional set-up recommended).
Network control
Connect to your network via Ethernet (wi-fi not included) and you get access to a wide range of networking features. These include UPnP (Universal Plug n’ Play) for streaming from other network devices, Spotify Connect (requires Spotify Premium account) and Internet radio.
Internet, DAB and FM – all the radio you need
Internet radio opens up access to a choice of hundreds of radio stations from around the world. Backing this up, the built-in DAB and FM tuners give wide-ranging access to all your favourite stations, including popular digital only stations, such as BBC 6 Music and 4 Extra.
MusicLife iOS control app
If you have an Apple iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad, then you can take full control of streaming music to your Arcam device with the MusicLife control app. It lets you stream music directly from your device as well as servers or computers connected via UPnP (Universal Plug n’ Play). The latest version brings Internet Radio, Podcasts plus streaming from TIDAL and Qobuz. Advanced features, such as library searching, sorting, shuffle and repeat playback are also catered for.

Enjoy immersive multi-channel sound with the Denon AVR-X2600H 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It delivers up to 95W of power at 8 Ohms and features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility for object-based audio support. Built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 support allows the receiver to wirelessly stream music from compatible sources, such as smartphones and tablets. The receiver uses AKM 32-bit D/A converters for decoding audio from a variety of lossless file types, including ALAC, FLAC, and WAV at up to 24-bit / 196 kHz, along with compatibility for 2.8/5.6 MHz DSD files, which is the audio coding format of SACD. You can play them from memory devices or network sources. The AVR-X2600H also supports other file types such as MP3 and WMA.

The MM7055 power amplifier produces 140 watts of high current output from each of its five channels. This is "real world” power, too, measured across the full audio bandwidth (20 Hz – 20 kHz) at 8 ohms with 0.08% Total Harmonic Distortion. Designed for the ultimate music and movie surround sound experience, the Marantz MM8077 7-channel power amplifier delivers power and detail, and is rated at 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 180 watts per channel into 6 ohms.
The power supply features a high current toroidal power transformer along with high power (71WVDC) filter capacitors with a total 100,000µF capacitance to easily handle sharp short-term transient peaks.

Featuring our unique current feedback discrete power amp output stages that are identical for all channels, the MM8077 is equipped with multiple high current discrete power transistors that feature high slew rate and wide operating bandwidth to extract the most detail from todayʼs high resolution audio formats.
The output devices are mounted on our unique dual extruded aluminum alloy heat sink assembly, configured in a tunnel arrangement that provides both passive and active cooling. The massive heat sinks feature multiple ribbed fins that provide a large passive cooling area, and the assembly is book-ended with a whisper quiet fan that automatically kicks in to provide near silent active cooling when the soundtrack heats up. As the fan is mounted internally directly to the heat sinks, and not externally to the chassis cover as is often the case, even when itʼs running, itʼs designed to be whisper quiet.

The MM8077 features a DC trigger input for external power on/off control, and thereʼs also dual RC-5 remote control in/out jacks for connection to a compatible Marantz A/V pre-amp/processor.
The copper-plated chassis provides isolation from extraneous noise, and features a multi-layer reinforced bottom panel assembly for maximum rigidity along with triple-layer top cover. Elegantly finished in anodized black satin, the MM8077 features the classic Marantz ringed porthole display with a blue illumination accent that includes a display on/off function.
