It is loaded with versatile functions, an expressive touch-sensitive keyboard action and many convenient functions so that even beginners can enjoy playing it right away.
The Yamaha PSR-EW310 is a 76-key portable keyboard intended for intermediate and advanced players looking for a broad selection of high-quality acoustic and synth instrument sounds with realistic articulations and DSP effects. It offers a set of easy-to-use features including an arpeggiator, built-in songs and lessons, auto accompaniment styles, MIDI song recorder, USB audio interface, and on-board speakers—great for enjoying playing in a variety of musical genres, whether at home or on the go.
The PSR-EW310's extended 76-key keybed permits you to perform more complex piano pieces than you could on a 61-key keyboard. Touch sensitivity senses hard and soft playing and matches the dynamics of each key stroke to accurately capture every nuance of your playing style.
The keyboard uses AWM sampling technology to provide 622 inspiring sounds including strings, guitars, brass, saxophones, and drums. A dedicated button lets you quickly switch to a rich Grand Piano sound. To deliver even more realistic and authentic performances, a host of Super Articulation Lite Voices reproduce the subtle nuances of stringed instruments, such as the cello and mandolin, which are typically difficult to emulate on a keyboard instrument.
The built-in 205 auto-accompaniment styles provide real-time band backing tracks based on the chords you play and in a variety of musical genres from around the world, such as pop, jazz, R&B, salsa, and more. Smart Chord technology allows you to play complex chord voicings with just one finger, while the Arpeggio function further expands the keyboard's versatility. Jam with the band and use the 2-track MIDI song recorder to capture your performance and play it back later.
The Keys to Success mode includes learning techniques to help you learn how to play the 154 built-in songs-each with its own digital score. You can select just the key phrases of the song and practice them one by one. The three-part lesson functions make learning easier by breaking performances down into left- and right-hand parts and then putting them together. Chord progression lessons are onboard, while the Touch Tutor lesson mode tracks how hard you hit the keys, reinforcing proper dynamics technique. Duo Mode can be engaged to split the keyboard in half, a smart and practical way to play with a partner or for one person to teach another how to play.
A built-in speaker system delivers a clear sound, while the headphone output provides for private practice or playing. The 3.5mm aux input lets you connect your phone/tablet or music player and play along with your favorite songs. You can also use the Melody-Suppressor function to practice the melody part along with the audio playback.
The PSR-EW310's USB to Host port enables you to send USB MIDI and USB audio signals straight into your computer/DAW or smartphone for recording your music and performances.
Compact and lightweight, the PSR-EW310 is very portable. It runs on 6 AA batteries or can be powered from a PA-130 AC adapter (batteries and adapter available separately).

| The EK-50 is equipped with automatic accompaniment functionality called "Styles,”which allow you to automatically produce a rich accompaniment with just one finger on the left hand, or by playing chords. Since this accompaniment changes according to the keyboard position or the chord that you play, you can easily improvise by playing the melody with your right hand. It’s like leading a band that knows hundreds of songs with the touch of a finger.
EK-50’s onboard Styles cover more than 280 musical genres from around the world, each with four variations ranging from simple to complex, as well as an intro and ending for the beginning and end of the song. You can add variety to your performance by switching these buttons in time with the rhythm.
There’s also an "STS” (Single Touch Select) function that automatically selects recommended when you switch Styles. It’s a perfect pairing of sound and Style, all set up and ready to go, so that you can focus on learning, creating or performing.
The EK-50 contains more than 702 realistic sounds including pianos, violin, sax, and drums. You select and play the sound you need, whether you’re playing a solo performance or are playing in a band. You can also use the Split function to divide the keyboard and play different sounds simultaneously - such as piano with the right hand and bass with the left. This creates additional enjoyment with different combinations of sound.
The middle of the operating panel has a bright, clear display that shows the currently selected sound and Style names in large characters for great visibility. The principal switches are illuminated by their own LEDs which helps you visualize the setting of each function. There’s also a "Grand Piano button” which brings you right back to the starting grand piano sound at any time, regardless of the currently selected sound.
Powerful 10W x 10W stereo speakers are built into the instrument. They can reproduce not only the sound of the instrument itself, but also sound from an external device that you connect to the input jack. Additionally, a music rest and AC adaptor are included, so you’re completely ready to go right out of the box. The EK-50 also works with AA batteries (sold separately), so you can play on the go!
The EK-50 contains 64 "Music Styles” that preset the Style, sound and tempo suitablefor the songs that you’re familiar with. Simply selecting a Music Style and playing is an easy way to improvise or create ideas for original songs.
Got a great new song idea? You can record your performances on the EK-50 and save them as well. Song mode lets you play back your own original creations, internal demo songs, MP3 or WAV audio data and SMF (Standard MIDI File) data saved on any commercially-available USB flash drive. You’ll also be able to play sounds while these songs play back.
The EK-50 is open-ended, which allows you to add up to 96 styles via a USB flash drive. We expect to add new data to the KORG website in the future and will keep you informed.
