The ZONE 423 is a full featured zone mixer with 4 line and 2 microphone channels, that can be assigned to a master and a zone output, as well as inputs for an external emergency announcement system and remote-controlled switching mute. Through versatile connectivity, the compact 2U rack device is the perfect control centre for PA systems in food outlets, clubs, hotels, fitness centres, and is also excellent for presentations and DJs.

In addition to the two balanced microphone inputs with variable Gain and Talkover level,12V-phantom power, and a shared 3-Band-EQ, the ZONE 423 offers Line, Phono-, and Aux-stereo connections in RCA format, a FOH-input with balanced stereo jack plugs as well as a USB and 3.5mm mini jack. The USB-port is used as a stereo input and output and allows the mixer to be used as an external audio interface. The four input channels have individual gain controls with signal and peak value display, 45 mm faders for adjusting the volume and cue buttons.

The master and zone sections each have their own EQ, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs: the master output via terminal block connectors and the zone output using a mono sum switch, and 100 Hz high-pass filter. The stereo level indication can be set to master or zone, and the maximum output level can be preset for both on the back of the mixer. In addition to an adjustable headphone connection for pre-listening, the ZONE 423 also has a recording output.

LD Systems ZONE 624 4-Zone Mixer

The ZONE 624 is a fully-equipped zone mixer with 6 line and 2 microphone channels, that can be assigned to a stereo or a mono master output. The compact 3U rack device also has inputs for an external emergency announcement system and remote-controlled switching mute. Due to its extensive connectivity the ZONE 624 is the extremely flexible control centre solution for PA systems in food outlets, clubs, hotels, fitness centres, and many other areas.

The two balanced microphone inputs have a shared 3-band EQ, 12V phantom power and Talkover functions; the Talkover attenuation can be individually set for all zone outputs on the back of the unit. The 6 stereo input channels of the ZONE 624 are equipped with gain control, signal and peak LEDs, 45 mm faders, Cue buttons and RCA connections; channel 6, in addition with balanced TRS inputs for FOH signals. The device also has a switchable Aux input via 3.5mm mini jack and a USB port, that is used as a stereo input and output (recording out) and turns the ZONE 624 into an external audio interface.

The master section outputs are electronically balanced and use XLR connectors and terminal block connectors. The stereo zone also has unbalanced RCA connectors. The maximum output level for all of the zones can be individually set. The three mono outputs of the ZONE 624 each have a 2-band EQ, a selectable 100 Hz high pass filter, and a MIC mute switch with a level indicator; the inputs 1-6 or the stereo master signal can be selected as a source. The stereo output is equipped with a 3-band EQ, a control for the Talkover sensitivity and two LED chain level meters. Furthermore, the ZONE 624 has a recording output and a controllable PFL headphone jack for previewing.

Ο MZ-223 είναι ένας rackmount μίκτης, σχεδιασμένος για fixed εγκαταστάσεις σε καταστήματα, δημόσιες εκδηλώσεις, εστιατόρια, μπαρ, θεματικά πάρκα ή ξενοδοχεία. Μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για να \'στέλνει\' μουσική και ανακοινώσεις από μια πληθώρα πηγών προς τρεις ζώνες ή τρία διαφορετικά δωμάτια . Καθένα από τα επτά κανάλια εισόδων μπορεί να δρομολογηθεί προς κάθε μια ζώνη ξεχωριστά ή ακόμα και στις τρεις μαζί .

Ο μίκτης προσφέρει πέντε στέρεο κανάλια εισόδων για line-level σήματα από αναλογικές πηγές playback όπως media players, ραδιόφωνα ή κασετόφωνα . Δύο κανάλια μπορούν να εναλλάσσονται σε phono για σύνδεση πικ απ (turntables). Κάθε κανάλι έχει το δικό του έλεγχο gain, ένδειξη peak LED και στάθμης fader. Δύο επιπλέον κανάλια εισόδων μικροφώνου – με έλεγχο στάθμης, μετρητικά LED level και 3-περιοχών equalizers – είναι διαθέσιμα για ανακοινώσεις, ομιλίες, karaoke ή άλλες χρήσεις δυναμικών μικροφώνων .

Όταν χρησιμοποιείται για ανακοινώσεις, για παράδειγμα, η ενσωματωμένη λειτουργία Talkover μπορεί αυτόματα να χαμηλώσει την ένταση της μουσικής σε σχέση με την ένταση του μικροφώνου .

Κάθε μια από τις τρεις ζώνες main εξόδους διαθέτουν έλεγχο στάθμης, μετρητικά LED level και 3-περιοχών equalizer. Υπάρχει επίσης μια ανεξάρτητη έξοδο monitoring για το control room και έξοδο ακουστικών με έλεγχο στάθμης όπου μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για pre-fader προ ακρόαση των επιλεγμένων εισόδων και οποιαδήποτε ζώνη εξόδων.

Ο MZ-223 επιτρέπει πολλαπλές πηγές ήχου να μιξαριστούν και να δρομολογηθούν τρεις ανεξάρτητες ζώνες ή προορισμούς, χρησιμοποιώντας οικεία sliders έντασης και κουμπιά ανάθεσης . Σήματα ήχου μπορούν να εισαχθούν σε πέντε mixing κανάλια, το καθένα προσφέροντας δύο σετ επιλέξιμα unbalanced τύπου RCA στέρεο ζευγάρια εισόδων φθάνοντας στο άθροισμα δέκα unbalanced στέρεο line εισόδους. Τα κανάλια ένα και δύο μπορούν να δεχθούν phono-level σήματα για χρήση με πικαπ.

Στον MZ-223 της Tascam οι είσοδοι μικροφώνου βρίσκονται στο μπροστά μέρος panel για εύκολη πρόσβαση, δύο XLR εισόδους με studio-quality προενισχυτές μικροφώνου και κύκλωμα talkover (ducking) για εύκολες αναγγελίες.

Οι αυτόνομες τρεις ζώνες εξόδων διαθέτουν συνδυασμό XLR balanced και RCA unbalanced συνδέσεων για μακριά καλωδίωση ή σύνδεση με ενισχυτές ή αυτοενισχυόμενα ηχεία . Η ευελιξία αυτή επιτρέπει για παράδειγμα, μουσική να δρομολογηθεί στην ζώνη ένα, ambient noise ή φυσικοί ήχοι στη ζώνη δύο και μια ξεχωριστή μουσική ή μια αναγγελία στη ζώνη τρία , καθώς το πανεύκολο "Talkover” αυτόματα χαμηλώνει κάθε σήμα εξόδου ώστε να μπορούν να ακουστούν οι φωνές των ομιλητών.

Επίσης υπάρχει μια έξοδο MONITOR όπου μπορεί να στείλει ήχο σε εξωτερικό εγγραφέα για ηχογράφηση ή για να δρομολογήσει πρόσθετα ηχεία για monitoring .
