Inline Transformer IA-2
The model IA-2 line matching transformers !S designed to properly match a low impedance signal to a low impedance source. The advantage of "ground lift" switching allows to optmize hum problems. Technical Data Frequency response 20 Hz - 20 KHz + 1 dB Impedance 600 : 600 Ohm THD K3 50 Hz = 0.5 % Level < + 6 dBm Weight 100 g Dimensions diameter 17 mm, lenght 115 mm |
1-channel DI box, passive Converts unbalanced 6.3 mm jack line input (e.g. from instruments) into balanced XLR output for connecting a mixer Switchable input attenuation: 0 dB, -20 dB, -40 dB Ground-lift switch eliminates ground loop problems 1 signal input (6.3 mm jack) 1 parallel output (6.3 mm jack), feed-through of the input signal 1 low-impedance output (XLR) Gray housing |
2-channel DI box/splitter, passive Converts 2 separate unbalanced line inputs (e.g. instruments) into 2 balanced XLR outputs for connecting a mixer Switchable to split mode (input 1 routes the signal to both outputs) Switchable input attenuation: 0 dB, -20 dB, -40 dB Ground-lift switch eliminates ground loop problems 2 signal inputs via XLR/jack combo connectors 2 low-impedance XLR outputs Modern convex housing design Full rubber housing corners for safe operation Cables can be routed under the housing |
You're serious about getting rid of all that excess noise on stage, but you've got so many line instruments you don't know where to start. The ADB-4 from Stewart can take care of all your high impedance problems. The ADB-4 is 4 active direct boxes, all in a module that only takes up half a space on your keyboard rack. It's a rugged, durable piece of equipment that packs a lot of DI power.
? Requires phantom power or 9v battery ? Ground lift switch ? Instrument or speaker level switch ? Transformerless ? Can be used with amp up to 400w ? RF shielding | Standard active DI box. Can be operated with 9 V batteries or 48 V phantom power. High-impedance input; higher output level than with a passive DI box. Active circuitry allows for high input impedance ( 1 meg. ohm) and higher input sensitivity (typical difference between in and out -4 dB). Maximum output impedance with phantom power operation +10 dB. Output: transformer balanced. The special "floating ground" circuitry enables ground lift even during phantom power operation. Metal case 110 x 73 x 42 mm. |
Active DI-Box SM-60
The electronic Direct-Injection Box SM-60 allows direct connection of electronic music instruments such as keyboards, synthesizers, electric and electronic pianos, etc. with mixing consoles in PA-systems and in recording studios. The SM-6 is designed for applications, where a passive DI-Box does not perfom satisfactorily, i.e., where the output level of a passive DI-Box is too low for the microphone input section of the mixing desk. Because the input impedance of the SM-6 is above 5 MOhm, instrument outputs are not loaded or in any other way adversely affected. The voltage ratio from input to output is 1: 1 and is always sufficient for connection with any microphone input. Input connectors are 1/4" phone jacks, output connector is a Switchcraft D3M; output is 600 Ohms, transformer balanced. The output level may in certain cases overload microphone inputs - the line input section of the mixing console must then be used for connecting the SM-6. The unit operates with a 9 V battery or phantom powering from 24 to 48 volts.
