Perfect V2+ Preamp Tube - Good Gain - Tight Deep Bass - Fat Mid-range!!
The TAD 12AX7A-C / ECC83 TAD Premium Selected provides very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and silky top end with overall definition and brightness.
Selected with balanced systems and recommended for guitar amps to improve overall response.
Best for clean tones as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.
Recommended for all positions in amps with medium gain level or High-Gain Amps for V2+ positions.
As for V1 in general, but especially for higher gain amps or phono/audio-amps, we recommend the RT010 7025 Highgrade, the RT030 E83CC/7025 Highgrade or RT093-HG 7025-WB Highgrade
The TAD 12AX7A-C can replace any 7025, 12AX7WA, 12AX7WB, 12AX7LPS, 12AX7EH, ECC83 or E83CC.

For applications in particularly sensitive functions such as V1 or input stage with combo amps, V1 in high-gain amps, tube microphones and phono preamps, we recommend using the respective HIGHGRADE selection
Matching and Selecting Options for Preamp Tubes
Matching in Pairs for preamp tubes means that two tubes show identical gain, hence, four characteristically identical systems.
This matching method includes our Balance-Selection. We highly recommend this matching method for hi-fi systems.
TAD Premium Selected/Highgrade tubes are guaranteed for a period of 6 months (according to terms of warranties)

A rugged russian tube by Electro Harmonix.
Some claim the 6L6EH has been "Modeled after the vintage RCA 6L6GC "blackplate" and the 6L6EH features large plate dimensions".
To see what a real blackplate looks like see the picture on the right showing a RCA and a TAD blackplate small bottle 6L6.
Both are real black plate constructions and great for vintage guitar amps for pleasing smooth and fine complex tone structure. Best for any classic Fender Amplifier.
The 6L6EH is a very good choice for more modern hard rocking guitar sounds and recommened for this.
Tube Type 6L6/5881 Socket: Octal(8pin)  		Electro Harmonix EH6V6GT-MP Octal power tube (Max Plate Watts = 14W) Beam power tetrode with a specially developed cathode coating, careful alignment of the grid, tri-alloy plate material for flawless performance up to 475 volts. Perfect for high plate voltage amplifiers like the Fender Deluxe Reverb. This tube is perfect for guitar amps - it can take the abuse. Tube Type 6V6/6P6P-J/CV509/CV-511 Socket: Octal(8pin)These are the gold pin version of the standard ECC83. These tubes are immediately discerni-ble from other 12AX7. They have a construction that is similar to a frame-grid tube - similar to the Telefunken ECC803s. This construction makes them very rugged and reliable. This is one of the best new 12AX7 for any guitar amp. It is very musical - rich with great harmonics. An excellent tube in all Marshall amps in the three preamp positions. Factory selected tubes with gold pins. These tubes provide high gain without the usual noise and microphonic problems you would expect. This is great sound and value for your money. ECC83S is 12AX7 high gain pre-amplifying double triode. Thanks to its design it also peforms with very low noise and microphonics. Harmonically rich, with a detailed low end and a warm high end.
