Content | With the launch of the DALI OBERON loudspeaker series, we have picked the best elements from our current speakers and brought them together in a series that delivers on audio quality, looks and versatility.
This large floor-standing OBERON 7 speaker features 2 x 7” wood fibre SMC based woofers and an oversized 29 mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter.
This, combined with the large but elegant cabinet, delivers the very best in deep bass and large room performance. Despite its size, this speaker is surprisingly delicate and will impress with its ability to render any music style naturally and lifelike even at lower volumes. This makes the OBERON 7 perfect for almost any audio setup and any music or movie style.
With the OBERON 7, we have made it easy to integrate your loudspeakers into any room. Both the driver materials and geometry applied in the OBERON 7 has been selected to achieve a wide dispersion pattern in the listening area. The same principles have been applied in the design of the crossover.
As result, you will experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. This is important as you are rarely seated directly in front of your loudspeakers when listening to music. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion, as these will always be stronger in an on-axis response. This is also the reason why all DALI speakers are not designed to be toed-in.

| The body of the largest floorstanding speaker in the series has been manufactured from solid MDF panels and is extremely resistant to any kind of intrinsic resonance. As is the case for all other models, the baffle of the Monitor Supreme 2002 has been visually offset from the rest of the housing and is a feature that defines the design of this Magnat speaker.
The speaker, which is available in two high quality wood finishes, is equipped with two 200 mm bass drivers and one 170 mm midrange driver, which offer a particularly high level of dynamics in the bass segment and good precision over the entire frequency range. The coated 25 mm fabric dome with its newly developed tweeter flange also ensures significantly enhanced dispersion properties.

Room-filling sound without a room-filling speaker cabinet. Slimmer than ever before, the 684 S2 offers an amazing combination of floorstander power, audio performance and unbeatable value.
Switching to 5-inch bass/midrange drivers from the previous 6.5-inch cones, means the 684 S2 is now significantly slimmer than its predecessor, with simultaneously improved audio performance, thanks to Bowers & Wilkins innovation. The two Kevlar cone drivers benefit from smaller voice coils to increase sensitivity.
The 5-inch drivers now also feature Anti-Resonance Plug dustcaps, technology taken from our high-end PM1 speakers, that improve pistonic movement inside the voice coil. This helps to deliver amazingly distortion-free midrange performance, all in a smaller space.
As well as slimmer, improved driver performance, the 684 S2 also features a Decoupled Double Dome tweeter. Double dome technology, brought across from the CM10, increases tweeter rigidity for a more precise sound, while the tweeter sits in a gel-filled cavity, decoupled from the surrounding cabinet - which removes resonances and vibrations, for a more natural, spacious sound.
