The SDI-202 is a multi-purpose unit and can be powered by an 9V battery or mixer with phantom power. The instrument mode has a high impedance which makes it possible to connect an instrument with high output impedances, like an electric guitar or acoustical guitars with a piezo-ceramic pick-up element. But this mode also allows you to connect electric devices with an unbalanced output like keyboards or Dj mixers without balanced outputs. The RCA input is ideal for these kind of setups. It also has a speaker mode which allows you to connect guitar amplifiers direct with the SDI-202. The SDI-202 balanced outputs will give a clean signal at a low level which makes long runs of cable possible. The SDI-202 will provide an even frequency response on any input signal connected with the benefit of cancellation of interference, hums and buzzes.

Passive DI box especially designed for guitars.
The PDI09 can be connected between an effect device or amplifier and the mixing console. The PDI09 is not suitable for direct connection to a guitar. Integrated filter circuits simulate the authentic "speaker" sound. Tone can be varied between "Mellow“, "Normal“, or "Bright“.

audio quality in a tough, roadworthy package. Accurate Left and Right channel level matching keeps
the stereo image centred.
Level control
The DI-PLUS 2 features two high impedance unbalanced inputs on the front panel, running to balanced
XLR outputs on the rear. A a global Pad switch drops inputs by 20dB, making it suitable for all applications
from the softest keyboard to the hottest broadcast levels.
Battery compartment
The revolutionary simple 'clamshell' action of the DI-PLUS 2 battery compartment makes battery changing
extremely easy, even on the darkest stages.
A 9v alkaline battery snaps into a PCB mounted battery holder for fast, secure location. No fragile battery clip
leads to break, no tools required, no screws to lose. Production crew heaven!
Automatic Phantom switching
The DI-PLUS 2 will automatically switch itself to the console's own Phantom Power, if available, and an LED
will indicate this mode. Turn the Phantom Power off and it will instantly revert back to battery mode.

a balanced XLR output on the rear. There is also a separate -40dB Speaker Level input for signal coming

input and the speaker input by a further 20dB, making it suitable for all applications, from the softest
keyboard to the hottest broadcast levels.
