With its ultra low 6 dBA self-noise and transformer less SMT circuitry, the
R?DE NT1000 exhibits exceptional performance when recording both vocals
and instruments in the studio.
Voiced for ?application versatility?, the NT1000 has been hailed by many as the
ultimate drum over-head and grand piano mic selection. The NT1000 is also
equally at home as a first call vocal mic. With its Australian made 1? HF-2 capsule
incorporating internal shock mounting, the NT1000 boasts a 134 dB dynamic range,
and 140 dBA SPL capabilities and a 20 Hz ? 20 kHz frequency response.
Built of a heavy-duty cast metal satin nickel body, the NT1000 incorporates a
high-strength, heat-treated mesh head, and comes supplied in a zip pouch with a
stand mount.

The rugged CK-6 microphone body and capsule assembly are precision machined of Brass. Aesthetically the compact body features an elegant Metallic Cabernet Wine-Red finish, accented with polished nickel trim and capsule assembly. This Transformerless CLASS A FET Microphone w/ 32mm gold sputtered thin Mylar capsule is designed with circuitry that will yield pleasing professional results comparable to much more expensive designs. It also features -10 dB pad & 80 Hz LF roll off switches for varied recording situations.
The included Custom Retro Shockmount is superb in allowing a precise positioning of the mic while inhibiting the transfer of unwanted vibrations up into the mic. This isolation allows for superior professional results.
