STINGER SUB 15 A G3
Engineered for rock-solid reliability day in, day out this active subwoofer is a truly professional performer. With built-in presets for quick system integration and a variety of cardioid array configurations it is completely user-friendly. The Stinger® SUB 15 A G3 is powered by high efficiency Class D amplification with a mighty 450 watts RMS output. It drives a custom designed 15” woofer delivering a huge bottom end with terrific punch and excellent definition. The Stinger® SUB 15 A G3 incorporates LD Systemsʼ proprietary DynX® DSP technology to ensure top-level performance and pristine, distortion-free bass reproduction at all times. Designed to be a real workhorse throughout, the well-braced bass reflex enclosure is constructed for horizontal and vertical orientation. It is made of rigid 18 mm birch ply and coated with ultra tough polyurea for extraordinary strength and durability. Sporting a steel front grille, M20 threaded pole insert, stacking recesses and ergonomic handles the Stinger® 15 A G3 is an attractively priced choice for truly professional sound reinforcement. One of the best ways to fill the room with bass with your PA system is by adding a subwoofer. Mackie's Thump 115S powered subwoofer was designed to boost the low-frequency power and output of a PA system using their Thump Series powered speakers, but it'll work with any system that needs more bass. This sub features a built-in amplifier that sends up to 1400 watts to the 15" low-frequency driver in an efficient bandpass enclosure, creating plenty of bass energy for just about any musical application or venue. Internal protection circuits keep the sub rockin' and safely under control, even when the party gets loud and raucous.
Integrates well
Selectable High Pass Modes with a variable crossover setting optimizes the sub for different system configurations and musical genres. You've got music playing nice and loud, but it's time for another announcement. Sure, you could mess with your levels every time, but who's got time for that. Simply press the Music Ducking button, and channel 2 will automatically turn down whenever you speak into the mic on channel 1.

And it's an unfortunate issue that physics won't change its mind on. But wait! Hit the Feedback Eliminator button and laugh in the face of those silly acoustic laws.

Music starts to really groove when you can feel the bass in your body. The ICOA SUB can deliver as much bass as you want - to get the people rocking and entice them to the dance floor. It can even lend a multimedia presentation that special oomph it needs to reach its audience.
The ICOA SUB pumps out serious bass and gives you greater headroom and a clearer sound. This is because your subwoofer relieves the main speaker, whose woofers are now less burdened by high-energy bass impulses, resulting in less intermodulation distortion. Even at higher volumes, the sound doesn't get muffled. Voices and instruments stay crystal clear.
Thanks to its powerful Class D amplifier with 400-watt RMS or 1600-watt peak output, you have some serious power at your command. The presets of the integrated DynX DSP - which offers crossover frequencies of 80, 100 and 120 Hz - let you finely balance your ICOA SUB perfectly with your system. Signal polarity can also be reversed and the SUB offers a delay line-preset for distances up to 10 meters.
When your needs begin to expand as the venues get bigger, your setup can grow along with you. Simply add more ICOA SUBs, which can be operated in parallel, giving you more and more power. You can also take advantage of the cardioid-preset. Simply position the additional subwoofers next to your ICOA SUB facing to the rear and enable the cardioid-preset to get a quieter and controlled low-end at the back while still keeping the punch at the front.
The rugged housings made of 18 mm laminated wood can be stacked, while the M20 thread on top lets you mount the main speakers using a distance pole. Transport is simplified by mounting rollers to the rear. Corner protectors guard the edges during setup. To keep the ICOA SUB from slipping out of your hands, its four aluminium grips are covered in rubber.
