Vintage 30
Back in 1986 a new breed of hard rock player was on the rise. To meet the demands of the players and their increasingly ʽhot-roddedʼ amplifiers, we set out to develop a modern speaker, capable of handling much more power and overdrive. To achieve this, we coupled our ʽHʼ magnet (the closest in performance to Alnico) with a new cone and voice coil employing contemporary materials.
Our most revealing speaker, the Vintage 30 features enormously detailed and complex overtones, a warm low-end, a famously rich vocal mid-range and a beautifully detailed top-end. Used singly to reveal the complexities in hand-wired boutique amps, or in quartets for a wonderfully intricate vintage 3D crunch, the Vintage 30 sound has been captured on thousands of recordings from a diverse range of notable players including Slash, Steve Stevens and Peter Frampton.

The lower cost MX212, 2 x 12'' cab can be used with most Marshall heads, or as an extension cab for a 2 x 12'' combo, which adds great flexibility to your setup. This mono cab, covered in Marshall Tolex, featuring the iconic Marshall baffle logo is loaded with Celestion Seventy 80 speakers. | The PPC112 is one of the most popular 1x12 cabinets on the market today, and with good reason. Its closed-back, 18mm birch plywood enclosure is slightly bigger than a conventional 1x12. This gives the PPC112 a greater internal volume for a fatter tone with excellent projection. Housing a single Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, the cabinet also features our unique skid runners on the base to acoustically couple the cabinets to the stage to improve low end responsiveness.
