Based on RØDE's award winning NTG3, the NTG8 is a broadcast quality RF-bias shotgun microphone that exhibits increased directionality across a wide frequency response range. This makes the NTG8 the perfect microphone for film, television, sports and outdoor broadcasting, live performance, and any professional distance miking application.
Like the NTG3, the NTG8 features low self-noise, natural sound without colouration both on and off-axis, and RF bias technology to ensure that it is almost completely resistant to high humidity environments which could cause other condenser microphones to fail.
The NTG8 is finished in matte black and supplied with a specially designed shock mount (SM8) that is engineered to provide excellent handling noise isolation, cable management and versatile mounting options for the microphone. A rugged weatherproof aluminium cylinder is also included, providing ultimate protection for the microphone when in transport or storage. ProMic Laser is our first ever DSLR on-camera microphone - a shotgun condenser microphone with a precision-tuned capsule for capturing professional-quality audio direct to camera.
With more and more video recording enthusiasts taking an increased interest in the quality of the audio of their videos, ProMic Laser provides the high-quality audio to match the high-definition video capabilities of todayʼs DSLR cameras.
Laser, the first release in the ProMic series, is a truly professional solution. It has a rugged aluminium design and comes with a removable wind shield and a custom shockmount for hot-shoe mounting directly onto a DSLR camera.
Laser is battery-powered using a single AAA battery (not included), which means that the microphone has an increased sensitivity level, and a lower noise floor, but the inclusion of a -10dB Pad allows you to reduce the level of the mic for recording louder sources.
The microphone also features a Bass Cut, which gives you the option of removing unwanted low frequency rumble, such as traffic or noise from the camera itself, and this can be used in tandem with the -10dB Pad.

The CS-50 is a compact, light-weight stereo condenser microphone designed for the R-4 and R-4 Pro, videographer, broadcaster, and sound designer. The CS-50 features bass roll-off capability as well as selectable wide stereo or narrow (focused) polar patterns.
From Edirol, the CS-50 Stereo Microphone is designed for use with the Edirol/Roland R4 portable digital field recorder. The microphone features wide stereo and narrow polar patterns. The wide stereo pattern reproduces audio with accurate stereo imaging while the mono pattern is focused and reduces signal at the sides of the capsule.
