The SC 230 USB ML Monaural Headset is a black, single-sided headset with silver highlights. This headset is designed for use with Microsoft Lync. It has integrated call control and a USB connector. The SC 230 USB ML headset features a noise-cancelling microphone designed to filter out ambient noise, while the single-sided wearing style allows you to hear what's going on in your environment. The SC 230's pivotable boom rotates through 350° for wearing flexibility on the right or left ear. The boom arm is bendable, which allows you to adjust the microphone's position. The ActiveGard technology is designed to protect you from acoustic shock and sudden sound surges. The call controls allow you answer or end a call, increase and decrease volume, reject an incoming call, mute the microphone, and redial the last outgoing call.

The headsetʼs microphone has a cardioid polar pattern tailored for pickup of speech with maximum voice intelligibility over a wide range of frequencies. It is more sensitive to sound originating directly in front of the element, making it useful in reducing pickup of unwanted sounds. The flexible gooseneck boom swivels for easy positioning on either the right or left side.
