| 12AU7 / ECC82. A lower-gain substitute for the 12AX7/7025 preamp tube. Good for a cleaner, quieter sound. Electro-Harmonix sound effects are world renown for the soulful warmth of their analog sound and their line of "EH" premium tubes continues in this tradition of classic tone. | A rugged russian tube by Electro Harmonix.
Some claim the 6L6EH has been "Modeled after the vintage RCA 6L6GC "blackplate" and the 6L6EH features large plate dimensions".
To see what a real blackplate looks like see the picture on the right showing a RCA and a TAD blackplate small bottle 6L6.
Both are real black plate constructions and great for vintage guitar amps for pleasing smooth and fine complex tone structure. Best for any classic Fender Amplifier.
The 6L6EH is a very good choice for more modern hard rocking guitar sounds and recommened for this.

The JJ Electronic EL34 is another classic from JJ.
This tube features a rugged construction leading to an incredibly reliable EL34 with astonishing tone.
