With its metallic exterior, the Night Train series emanates a unique and powerfully distinctive look which differs from the usual VOX aesthetic; in contrast, this new combo amp features the traditional VOX design. The front sports the trademark VOX diamond grille cloth and VOX gold badge, providing a classic look that will satisfy long-time VOX fans. The NT15C1-CL covers all kinds of tube tones ranging from clean to crunch, as well as high-gain sounds and everything in-between, making it a great choice for any situation. Main Features Robust all valve sound with class AB design; the pre-amp is driven by three 12AX7 valves, while the power amp contains two EL84 valves. Two-channel BRIGHT/GIRTH design that covers the spectrum from VOX's traditional clean/crunch sound all the way to a modern high-gain sound. You can use an optional foot switch to change channels. The THICK switch provides an additional gain boost on the BRIGHT CH. Excellent expandability, with send/return jacks for convenient connection of an external effect unit. High-quality reverb is a new addition on all Night Train models. The combo features a rounded retro look. Both are equipped with suitcase-type handles redolent of vintage taste.

There are 2 master volumes that can be recalled by the footswitch as well. The reverb sounds incredible...it really does. Emulated XLR out for recording. The 2266C 50-watt 2X12 combo is an all-valve single channel amplifier with a choice of 2 "dynamic ranges" selectable by a footswitch. The Low range equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the '70s.
