You'll notice the Milan M15 is remarkably lightweight for a 15-inch PA speaker, at just over 60 pounds. That's due to the cabinet design, which is made from injection-molded polypropylene. And if you look close you'll see a ribbed pattern on the cabinet's exterior (it's actually on the interior as well). That ribbing not only adds strength and rigidity, it also helps cut down on cabinet resonance. Basically, the Milan M15 lets you take advantage of a lighter, stronger design without compromising your sound quality.
Flexible input options and sound shaping for virtually any application
You can connect practically any sound source to the Milan M15, from your mixer's line outputs to instruments and microphones. And you've got two inputs available, so the Milan M15 is a perfectly viable solution for coffee shop performances with a guitar and vocal mic. It's also perfect for public speaking - in fact, there's a Speech/Music mode switch that optimizes the performance for those applications.

The Dr 15a is a very portable self-powered system with an extremely efficient 15" woofer that is capable of a seriously impressive and very punchy bass & mid range output. A custom m-34 compression driver handles high frequency reproduction with a clean, smooth and dynamically transparent clarity. Each driver is powered directly by its own perfectly matched independent amplifier in this bi-amplified active system for maximum efficiency and incredible sound pressure levels. The Avant series incorporates an impressive battery of high tech features that take powered portable systems to a new level of performance. The Digital Signal Processsing (DSP) incorporated in the Avant series provides unparalleled control over the audio signal. Critical parameters have been fine tuned for each cabinet, yet their consistent sound "signature" allows them to perform seamlessly with other systems from the Avant family.
The 15AV4 loudspeaker designed and built by D.A.S. provides powerful low frequency reproduction. High frequencies are handled by the M-50N compression driver which uses a neodymium magnet structure and 2" titanium diaphragm for exceptional perormance in all types of applications.
