It's amazing. One little button. It has so much effect. The Type III? Noise Reduction is an entirely new concept... virtually instantaneous encode/decode within the circuitry of the box. We started out to build the finest EQ's possible, boxes with the heritage and performance to rival our famous 30 Series EQ's. And to no one's surprise they came out awfully darn good. But then, Roger (our chief engineer, a nice guy, as far as engineers go) got the crazy idea of putting this new noise reduction stuff in the box. We listened to it and were amazed. But hey, Roger wasn't about to stop there. PeakPlus? Limiter. Who knows more about limiting than the folks at dbx?; nobody... that's who. So when the guys were developing this new series of EQ's they wanted something that would be unique to these EQ's. That's when Roger got another one of his bright ideas and said "I bet they'll work a lot better if there's a cool limiter built in." Next thing you know, all the guys are in the studio amazed at the new limiter Roger had designed specially for the 20 Series. Once again, hearing is believing... With a threshold range of 0 to +20dbu, the PeakPlus limiter is designed to tame your program material from the subtlest nuances to the rowdiest hits. DESCRIPTION
Designed with the most advanced audio technologies the Outline Controller Series are true professional active dedicated control units for some Outline loudspeaker system models. Developed to meet the most demanding requirements of the sound reinforcement applications, the Outline Controller Series provides nonstop operation with absolute stability and reliability. Only IEC approved components and parts are used in these active controllers and they are manufactured to satisfy and to be in according with safety objects stated for “electrical device” working within the limits of pertinent CE, European Community directive.
Based on a plugin filter card design, the Outline Controller Series allows the operation to those Outline loudspeaker systems that needs this kind of external assistance to perform of its best.
The Outline FOC1, SC1, MEC1, NC1 two ways with subbass output controllers, are designed for the Outline Flyone, Spectra, Media, Integra loudspeaker system.
The Outline FSC1, TFC1, MRC1, TLC1, three ways with subbass output are designed for the Outline FormulaStack, TopFly, RoadSystem, Tripla loudspeaker system.
All models have customized band splitting, filter transfer function and signal time alignment tailored to the loudspeaker system for which are designed.
All models have dynamic control with loudspeaker protection purposes, obtained with RMS limiters with adjustable threshold that are available on each output.
All models have a very low frequency output that can be used to drive the Outline Bass Series or Sub Series low frequency units.
All models have level control on each output, polarity inverters, muting switches, subsonic filters, RMS limiters and active balanced input and outputs with XLR connectors. Perspex security cover are included.
