Get some huge tube tone from the tiny Bugera T5 INFINIUM Guitar Amplifier Head. With this head weighing in at under 10 pounds, you can take it from silent headphone practicing in your apartment to the recording studio, or to your next club gig and plug it into a (separately available) cabinet. The simple single-channel design allows you to dial in your tone quickly, while the PHAT switch adds a gain boost and bypasses the EQ section for a more raw sound. Onboard reverb completes the package, adding subtle ambience or washy overtones to your sound.
Aesthetically, the T5 features a vented metal top which shows off the 12AX7 preamp and EL84 power amp tubes\' glow, along with the other amp components. An orange classic jewel status light shines when the power is on.
Classic All-Tube DesignThe T5 INFINIUM features Class-A technology with a 12AX7 front-end and an EL84 power stage. The tube design provides sweetly balanced harmonics and natural tube compression, resulting in the warm distortion and break-up you\'ve come to love from those vintage megaliths of yesteryear—in a portable and attractive chassis. The 12AX7 preamp tube can produce everything from soulful blues to mind-blowing crunch. Often employed in classic British-style amplifiers, the EL84 output tube is known for its crisp and chiming tonal quality. The built-in power attenuator can harness that power for reproducing a hard-working power amp tone at lower volume levels.INFINIUM TechnologyBy continuously monitoring the tube circuitry, INFINIUM lengthens tube life and keeps your tone consistent throughout the life of your tubes. When INFINIUM detects a change in tube operation due to aging or otherwise, it dynamically adjusts the circuitry so the tubes operate at their optimal load.
INFINIUM also knows when the power tube needs to be replaced and will illuminate an LED on the rear panel to notify you. Auto-Bias circuitry allows you to replace the tube without any esoteric or potentially dangerous adjustments that would require a trip to an amp tech.
Built-In ReverbT5\'s Reverb puts the finishing touch to your sound. Adjustable via the dedicated control on the front panel, you can dial in the level you desire—from a subtle touch to the cavernous, natural-sounding reverberation of a large arena.Power Attenuator and Speaker EmulationThe convenient, built-in Power Attenuator allows you to operate the T5 at your choice of 5 Watts, 1 Watt, or even 0.1 of a Watt, so you get everything from sweet and sassy to maximum tube saturation, even at reduced volume levels. The stereo headphone output has speaker emulation that tailors your tone for silent practicing.
