  • Lightweight (5.8kg) super compact package
  • The MIC/LINE ChannelsIn the mixer section, a total of 8 channel strips are available: 4 MIC / LINE channels, 2 MIC / Stereo USB channels (\’Super Channels\’) and 2 stereo LINE channels. The MIC / LINE channels offer extremely low-noise and low-hum electronically balanced XLR microphone inputs with an extremely low distortion factor (typ. 0.002%) for the connection of low-impedance microphones. For condenser microphones, phantom power (+48 volts) is centrally switchable. The LINE inputs are also electronically balanced and implemented as TRS sockets. In addition to a Gain control, a highly efficient 3-band equalizer, FX send, AUX send and a Monitor send as well as either Panorama or Balance controls are available. The four MIC / LINE channels provide a switchable 80Hz Lo-Cut filter to cut-off unwanted rumble, whilst the Super Channels 5-6 and 7-8 are supplied by the USB stereo inserts 1-2 and 3-4.The STEREO-LINE channels (9-10 and 11-12) offer electronically balanced TRS inputs for the connection of electronic instruments such as keyboards, drum-computers, guitars and basses with active electronics, as well as all other high-level stereo signal sources such as additional mixers, effects devices etc. CD or MP3 players can be connected to the additional cinch (RCA) inputs CD 1-2 and CD 3-4, which are switched in parallel. The tone controls and sends are identical to those of the MIC / LINE channels. All input channels, provide a Signal / Peak LED to assist level control. The SIG LED illuminates at around -30 dB and the PK LED at 6dB beneath the distortion threshold. A MUTE button and a PFL button (in channels 5-12 in stereo) are further features found in all input channels.
  • The DIGITAL AUDIO InterfaceThe DIGITAL AUDIO INTERFACE features two stereo channels, present as USB 1-2 and USB 3-4 in Super Channels 5-6 and 7-8 respectively. This professional interface is implemented with 24-bit resolution and sampling rates up to 96 kHz, satisfying studio requirements. The USB sends are supplied with the Master L and R, AUX and MON signals. The DIGITAL AUDIO INTERFACE can be used for input and output simultaneously. Via the USB 2.0 port of your PC / Mac, four channels can be transmitted simultaneously in each direction. When a USB 1.1 interface is used, two channels can be transmitted simultaneously in each direction. The CMS is designed for the level of standard PCs / Macs; the gain level can easily be adjusted from the connected computer. Included in the delivery is an instruction sheet and a licenses code for the Cubase LE software.PC MIDI InterfaceThe CMS includes a fully-featured PC MIDI interface. The MIDI input also supports the remote switching of both internal effects units using a master keyboard or MIDI footswitch.
  • MasterMaster Section features the Master A L+R sends (on separate faders), an additional Master B send (switchable pre/post master A and mono/stereo), the stereo effects returns, and the master sends of the AUXiliary and MONitor busses. If the AUX buss is not used to supply FX 2, it can be switched pre or post fader to use as an additional monitor or FX send. The 9-band stereo equalizer in the master section allows you to adjust the frequency response to the acoustics of the room. The REC SEND and USB OUT controls determine the level of the master L+R signal at the Rec Send sockets and in the output channels of the digital USB interface. PHONES allows you to adjust the volume of the headphones output. Two ten-LED meters provide an overview of the power amplifier level. When the PFL switch is activated, the left-hand LED chain shows the internal level of the master buss in dBu. The STANDBY switch mutes all outputs with the press of a single button. For the playback of e.g. background music, the DEVICE SETUP menu allows you to route stereo channel 11-12 for standby operation directly to the power amplifiers.
  • Stereo Effects and ProcessingCMS is equipped with two very high-quality, 24-bit stereo effects processors, FX 1 and FX 2; they operate independently and can therefore be mixed. The two effects units are fully identical in their design. Each effects section offers 100 presets including studio-quality reverb, delay and modulation effects selected by means of the display. When a delay effect is active, the actual delay time can be synchronized to the beat of the music using the TAP key. Customized effects can be created modifying individual parameters of the presets and storing the results in the 20 user memories. Both effects units are supplied by the FX Send buss. In the DEVICE SETUP menu, you can configure the AUX send buss to function as an FX 2 send, so that only the FX 1 effects unit is supplied by the FX 1 buss. In this way, the two effects devices can be used independently of each other. The effects can be mixed separately to the master and monitor busses. To manage the FX, the large, high-contrast OLED display is easily read from a wide range of viewing angles, even in very bright surroundings. The operation of the effects units and processing menus is intuitive and made easier still through the use of soft keys and a rotary encoder.

Soundcraft FX16ii - rebirth of a classic

The Soundcraft FX16ii mixer uses the same AudioDNA processor featured in many of the Digitech and Lexicon outboard equipment including the highly respected Lexicon MX500 processor. With over 35 years experience, the Lexicon name is synonymous with the best reverb and processing in the business, ensuring the finest quality effects not usually found in a console at this price level.

The Soundcraft FX16ii offers a combination of powerful live and recording features; each channel has a Direct Output which is individually switch-able pre or post fader to enable use with 16-track recording systems. The Lexicon effects work just as well in the live as well as the recording environment with a tap tempo function, 3 parameter controls, user effects settings store ability, effects clip LED and 32 powerful and editable effects to choose from.

The use of the latest PCB surface mount technology means that the Soundcraft FX16ii fits all of these features into a rugged, compact frame which can be optionally rack-mounted into a 10U space via Soundcraft FX16ii's rotating connector pod which allows cables to be connected conveniently behind the rack and save rack space.

Soundcraft FX16ii main features include:

  • 26 inputs
  • 16 mono microphone channels
  • 4 stereo returns
  • 4-bus architecture, with sub-group routable to mix
  • Built-in 24 bit Lexicon digital effects processor
  • 32 FX settings
  • Tap Tempo
  • 3 FX parameter adjust rotaries
  • User FX settings store function
  • Direct outputs for multi-track recording individually switch-able for pre-post-fade operation
  • Inserts on all mono channels
  • Inserts on stereo mix output
  • Classic Soundcraft 3-band EQ with swept mid-band
  • Stereo 18dB/octave 100Hz high-pass filter
  • Dual global +48V phantom power split channels 1-8 and 9-16
  • Channel Mute control
  • 10-segment tri-coloured metering
  • Two sub-group outputs
  • Separate mono sum output
  • Integral universal power supply

The Soundcraft GB2 16 is the latest addition to the Soundcraft GB Series, featuring 4 group busses configured as 2 stereo subgroups and an integral 6 x 2 matrix.

Intended for installed-sound and Audio-Visual applications the Soundcraft GB2 16 comes with 16 mono inputs and 2 stereo inputs as standard. Each input features the high-performance GB30 Mic Pre and GB30 Equaliser designs of the GB4 and GB8, along with 6 Aux buses.

Soundcraftʼs legendary 4-band EQ has also been improved further with the addition of elements derived from Soundcraftʼs highly successful MH Series consoles. This new design delivers the sound of the classic ʽBritish EQʼ enhanced even further with more focused HF and LF shelving sections

Four Subgroups are provided as two stereo pairs, with a unique facility for adjusting the width of the stereo signal across the stereo mix. The channel pan settings are retained on the group outputs, while the degree of stereo separation to the mix bus is independently adjustable from full stereo through to mono.

The GB2 16 also features two stereo input channels, with separate mic and line inputs. In normal use, the mic inputs are routed to the local channel and the line inputs act as a stereo return to the mix bus. Selecting the LINE input to the local channel overrides the Mic inputs.

Soundcraft GB2 16 main features include:

  • Frequency Response Mic/Line Input to any output, 20Hz - 20kHz
Low-cost high-performance mixers Soundcraft have unveiled another addition to the rapidly growing new Soundcraft family, the multi-format low-cost EPM mixers. The emphasis with the Soundcraft EPM is very firmly on quality build and audio performance, with an easy to understand control surface uncluttered by unnecessary facilities, and Soundcraft have brought new technologies and ideas to this very cost-effective range. Surface mount technology is used throughout, using close-tolerance components for high accuracy and repeatable settings for EQ and gain controls. The highly-transparent GB30 Mic amp (designed by Graham Blyth for the companys 30th anniversary, and also used on the larger LX7ii and GB Series consoles) features high-resolution adjustment over a wide gain range of 55dB, and provides a stunning +22dB headroom through the console. True professional 48-volt phantom power caters for condenser microphones of all types. A unique feature of the signal monitoring is the PEAK led. This uses multipoint signal take-offs to watch for overload in several parts of the channel strip, and the led lights more brightly as the signal approaches the peak point. For smooth and accurate channel control, the EPM has 60mm high quality faders as used on other Soundcraft desks. The monitor output and headphone output work in parallel so that performers can still listen on phones while an engineer is listening on studio monitors. Other Features:
  • Frame sizes 12+2
  • 2 configurable auxiliary buses
  • XLR-type and Ό metal jack connector sockets
  • RCA phono stereo playback inputs and record outputs
  • 3-band EQ with a swept mid on mono inputs
  • 2-band EQ on stereo inputs
  • TRS insert sockets and inserts on all mono inputs and mix output
  • Ten-segment LED output metering
  • Intuitive and comprehensive solo system
  • Headphone output
  • Easily rack mountable

The LX7 combines the essential Soundcraft live mixer qualities
with basic recording-oriented features, in a compact frame that's
light enough for one person to carry yet easy to configure and use.
This makes it especially suitable for multi-purpose use in venues
such as small halls and community centres, while its direct channel
outputs make the LX7 an ideal choice for bands who need a live desk
that can double up in the studio.

Housed in a choice of 16, 24 or 32 channel frame, LX7 provides 24,
32 or 40 inputs - with no less than 7 separate bus outputs including
mix, 4 groups and a dedicated mono bus for centre speaker clusters,
side or rear fills. The output count rises to 29 with the inclusion of direct
outs on the first 16 mono inputs and six auxiliary busses.

LX7's balanced mic inputs all use patented Ultramic preamps,
providing 60dB of gain range and 22dBu of headroom. Each input
also includes 4 band EQ with two swept mid frequency controls.
In addition, EQ In/Out switch and steep 18dB/Octave High Pass Filter,
allow effective audio control in difficult venues whilst the six auxiliary sends
are pre-post switchable in pairs from each channel, providing a maximum of
4 pre-fader and six post-fader. This makes LX7 equally applicable
for foldback - heavy performance or in situations where more effects are required.

LX7's groups section houses two further stereo inputs - with EQ, auxiliaries
for keyboards or stereo recording devices - as well as two FX returns. All four
groups are routable to mix and include 12 segment bargraph metering for
accurate monitoring and inserts. Six auxiliary masters on rotary controls also
included AFL soloing.

In the master section there is talkback provision to all pre-fade auxiliaries and
the mix. Global phantom power and a two track return for pre-show music are
also present. A "two-track" to mix switch allows the engineer to play CD's over
the main PA whilst back-stage set-up is going on, with one press of a button.
The mix is also routable to the separate mono bus if mono PAs are required.

LX7 is built in a rugged wedge-shaped steel chassis with an internal power supply,
professional all-metal jackfield and connectors on the rear of the console. All inputs and outputs are balanced.
