The IRT-X is a portable active speaker which gives a Full-Range Flat-Response (FRFR) output that can be used in many different scenarios. It features 200 watts of power through an 8" studio-quality woofer with a 1" compression driver giving you ultimate power and dynamic range. Its key design is to be used with a guitar amp as an auxiliary speaker, where it provides tonal and volume expansion to your sound. The IRT-X can also be used as an FRFR monitor for amp-modelling setups as it provides clean and neutral amplification, or it can even be used as a PA speaker or personal monitor. Depending on your requirements, this can solve many different problems or become the core solution to your tonal needs.
Guitar Cabinet Expansion
At its heart, the IRT-X is a unique product in the market, where it is designed to be placed in-between your power amp output and your speaker. It takes the signal from your amplifier and, using clever on-board electronics, it re-amplifies that tone and expands it. The original signal returns to your current speaker unaffected, giving you two speakers of expanded tone. This can be used to fit many different setups:
Amplify a low-powered amplifier: Here the IRT-X can be used to take a low-power amplifier that you may enjoy at home but can't use on stage due it's low volume. The IRT-X will take your tone and amplify it to gig-ready levels, meaning you can use that favourite tube amp on stage.
A new effects loop: If your current amp doesn't have an effects loop, the IRT-X comes to the rescue and enables you to channel your tone through a new loop, giving your old vintage amp modern capability and the potential for stereo chains.
Auxiliary speaker for wider tone: The IRT-X can be used in conjunction with your combo amp as an auxiliary speaker and provide you with a wider sound-field and greater projection. In this setup, the IRT-X could provide the front-of-house sound while your amp can be used as a personal monitor.

FRFR Monitor
The IRT-X provides 200 watts of clean amplification in a full-range and flat-response which makes it ideal for modern amplifier-modelling systems and preamps. It can provide you with a neutral and powerful tone to act as your own personal monitor, and give the accurate detail and definition that modelling systems require.
PA Speaker And Monitor
The 200 Watts of clean amplification and multitude of inputs enables you to use the IRT-X as a traditional active loud speaker. Its top-hat mount enables mounting on speaker poles, while the trapezoidal design also allows it to be placed on stage and used as a personal monitor. The DI output enables your instrument or microphone signal to be fed straight to a mixing desk, giving you even more logistical possibilities.
Ultimate Connectivity
Loaded with XLR & Jack inputs, Input Level, Master Volume, Treble and Bass EQ and a Stereo FX loop; the IRT-X ensures that you have every connection you need. Combine that with a Balanced DI out with Switchable Cabinet Emulation options plus Speaker Phase Reversal and your guitar sound has never sounded better. The lower cost MX212, 2 x 12'' cab can be used with most Marshall heads, or as an extension cab for a 2 x 12'' combo, which adds great flexibility to your setup. This mono cab, covered in Marshall Tolex, featuring the iconic Marshall baffle logo is loaded with Celestion Seventy 80 speakers. | Fitted with a pair of Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, the PPC212OBʼs design accentuates the top end frequencies whilst softening the bass response. The split rear panel means the delivery is less directional, creating an airy, spacious and three-dimensional sound. The added presence and chime makes the PPC212OB especially suited for cleaner styles, or for players who want a more vintage combo-type tone from their amp head. Highly skilled craftsmen construct them from the finest quality materials with precision corner locked joints, tough cotton backed PVC covering, heavy-duty hardware, and the highest-quality fittings.
The Marshall Stack
If one thing personifies the image of rock 'n' roll more than anything else it's the Marshall 4x12. Though often imitated, nothing compares with the original. The first 4x12 cab was designed and built by Jim Marshall in 1962. Since then Marshall has made many thousands, which have appeared on stages both large and small all over the world.
After the initial success of the Marshall 4x12, it wasn't too long before they designed and built the first stack, where an angled cabinet sits on top of a straight fronted cab, with the amplifier placed on top. This came about after discussions with Pete Townshend of The Who. Pete and Jim Marshall sat down and discussed The Who's requirements for an 8x12 cab with an angled top. This was designed and built, but due to this awesome cab being somewhat cumbersome, only six were ever made.
As a result, Marshall came up with the more practical idea of stacking an angled cab on top of a straight fronted model. Thus the famous Marshall stack was born. What happened to the six 8x12 cabs, you ask? Well, 2 went to Pete Townshend, 2 went to John Entwhistle and the remaining 2 went to the Small Faces. The Marshall stack on the other hand has stayed in production ever since and has gone on to become the most recognizable rock 'n' roll icon.
As Marshall invented the stack, Marshall 4x12's are the only true originals. Everything else is merely an imitation.
Heavy-duty castors are fitted as standard to all Marshall full size 4x12's to ensure that these cabinets are ready to roll without rocking.
No sharp metal edges or rough fittings - the smooth ABS plastic Marshall corner fits perfectly and offers excellent protection to all eight cabinet corners.
