Applications
This is the EWI MST-412 4 Channel, 3 way, transformer isolated XLR splitter. This is an ideal, rack-mountable splitter for many applications, including:
1) Splitting XLR signals for taking a recording directly off a house mix.
2) Sending mixed signals to multiple amp racks.
3) Splitting XLR signals between house and monitor mixers.
4) Multiple XLR feeds for broadcast.
The MST-412 has some nice features:
1) Durable construction and all is housed in a convenient 1U rack mount unit.
2) Balanced XLR inputs and outputs.
3) Ground lift switches on both of the Isolated Split Outputs.
4) Good quality transformers for the splits.
5) The Direct Outs will pass Phantom Power. The two isolated split outputs do not pass phantom power.
On the front side EACH of the 4 input channels are equipped with a direct output and one isolated output with the ground lift switch next to the isolated output.
On the back side is one more isolated output panel jack and a direct output jack for EACH of the 4 channels plus ground lift switches for each back isolated split. The rear Direct Out jack is in parallel with the front Direct Out jack.
Physical properties are: The width is standard 19” rackmount. The height is 1 U (1 ¾”). The depth is 4” behind the rack ears. There are 4 nice little rubber feet on the bottom to help keep if from sliding around on a slick surface, or marring up something you set it on. Weight is 2.95 lbs. This is a passive device, so no active power is required. The chassis is heavy gauge steel and the front mounting plate is 0.075” extruded aluminum (no plastic here). As well as being durable, the all-metal construction further helps to reduce induced EMI into the unit. The panel jacks are constructed with plastic bodies, and the FXLR input panel jacks are constructed with spiral spring contact points with no locking device other than the solid fit of the spiral spring contacts.

GrandAudition MK2 lets you connect 16 individual loudspeakers or eight loudspeaker pairs and up to eight subwoofers - all with balanced line-level XLR connectors and housed in two 19\" rack units. Depending on how you want to use GrandAudition MK2, the outputs can be selected either individually or as stereo pairs via an intuitive browser-based app or from the unit itself.
Thereby you can choose to just switch between loudspeakers or freely configure any output combination you want, making it not only the ideal solution for a loudspeaker presentation, but also an excellent choice as a central-control-unit for trade fairs, in laboratories and for multi-room sound distribution.
Source material is supplied from a mixer, CD player or digital audio workstation through two balanced XLR inputs - with volume control, of course. But that\'s not all. GrandAudition MK2 is also equipped with a built-in USB media player on which reference titles can be accessed in WAV, AIF, FLAC, MP3 and OGG data formats.

The browser-based remote can be controlled on a tablet or laptop, offering maximum operating convenience. Ethernet and WLAN-capable devices can be used for complete configuration and control of the unit, including channel naming, media player, and other practical functions.
The ability to individually adjust the level for each output and its quick and noiseless switching mechanism, makes it possible to accurately compare loudspeakers and help you reliably guide your customers to select the right loudspeaker. Routing applications that use different levels for each output can also be set up, and a fully analogue signal path with the highest quality is also of course guaranteed with Palmer.
If necessary, you can cascade units to triple the impressive number of 16 channels plus 8 outputs and thus manage even the largest routing scenarios for monitors, such as in presentation areas. You can also use the subwoofer outputs to connect additional loudspeakers without experiencing any technical drawbacks.
In addition to powered loudspeakers, passive loudspeakers can be incorporated with power amps. Signals can also be distributed over multiple line outputs for other applications, for example, by connecting as many as 24 headphone amplifiers to one source signal - an invaluable aid in conference technology and at trade fairs. And to top it all off, GrandAudition MK2 performs remarkably well in measuring laboratories.

About the DI6s It's a fact of audio life that a lot of equipment that has to be connected to professional audio systems isn't impedance or level compatible. Interfaces Unlimited Tape/cassette/DVD/CD decks, audio for video, drum machines, synthesizers, bass guitars, computers; at some stage all these need linking up to Balanced inputs, whether the application is Live sound, Studio or Broadcast. To solve these problems, we've developed the DI-6s:
Six active D.I. (Direct Injection) boxes, plus a 6 into 1 Line Mixer, plus a 1 to 6 Splitter, All of this in a compact, all steel 1 RU package.
A Pro Audio Toolbox This unique and flexible audio toolbox allows Six independent unbalanced audio sources to easily and quietly interface with Balanced pro audio systems, either to individual channels or summed down to one Master output. But that's not all. By pressing a single switch on the rear panel the DI6s will change from being Direct Boxes and a Mixer to being a 6 way Splitter (line distribution amplifier). Now it will split an incoming signal to 6 individual outputs or zones. On the front panel, each channel has 2 IN/OUT jacks, a level control from infinity (off) through 0dB to +15dB gain, and a Clip indicator LED.The Master section has a Master volume control and status LEDs indicating whether the unit is in DI or Splitter mode. In addition, as on all ARX single rack unit equipment, each channel has a numbered marker panel ('scribble strip') you can write on for easy confirmation of channel assigns. Balanced Outputs On the rear, each channel has an XLR Balanced output, with associated Ground lift switch and status LED, to isolate the chassis and electronic grounds. The Master section has both Balanced XLR and Unbalanced Jack outputs. In addition there is a Balanced XLR input with a switch to put the unit in either DI or Splitter mode. Universal AC Power AC power range is a universal 100 to 120V or 220 to 240V AC, and is connected to the unit via a removable power lead and standard 3 pin IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage change switch. | The distribution of mono and stereo balanced audio signals from a single source to multiple destinations has many applications including multi-zone sound reinforcement installations, live sports events coverage, broadcast studios, video suites, duplication or indeed anywhere high quality audio has to be distributed to a number of locations down long cable runs.
The Drawmer DA-6 is a six channel stereo (or twelve channel mono) distribution amplifier featuring XLR balanced inputs and outputs with optional transformer balancing where remote amplifiers and recorders are fed from separate power supplies.
The stereo Input features individual left/right level controls with LED bargraph metering enabling the correct balancing of stereo material or two mono signals. Each of the six outputs incorporate further left/right level controls and a Mono/Stereo switch providing the selection of either one stereo output or two mono outputs per channel. This feature allows the DA-6 to function as either a 1 x stereo input/6 x stereo outputs or 1 x mono input/12 x mono output unit or any combination of the two.
The output section consists of a Channel Select so that the individual left/right output level of each channel is displayed on the output LED bargraph and can be monitored by the Headphone jack socket. A pair of auxiliary link stereo jack sockets (TRS) are provided via the rear panel for connection to further DA-6 units for the distribution of even more channels.
